Recently, there have been constant turmoil in the "political arena" in Taiwan, and the newly appointed Lai Qingde seems to be going farther and farther down the road of "Taiwan independence." On 30 July, he once again staged a drama of "relying on foreign countries to gain self-respect" in a vain attempt to collude with external anti-China forces and carry out a conspiracy to "seek independence by relying on foreign countries," which aroused strong dissatisfaction among the people on the island.
Another protagonist of this farce is an organization called the "Coalition of Parliamentarians" (IPAC) for "Transnational China Policy". The organization was founded by Rubio, a Republican "congressman" of the United States, and claims to have 49 "congressmen" from 23 countries. However, most of these "parliamentarians" are marginal figures in the "political arena" of their countries, lacking representation and influence. This time, they went to Taipei to attend the so-called "annual summit" but to support the "Taiwan independence" forces in a vain attempt to create the false impression of "one China, one Taiwan" in the international community.
In the face of the "applause" of these external anti-China forces, Lai Qingde put on a show even harder, doing everything he could to provoke. He not only hyped up the so-called "China threat theory", but also falsely claimed that Chinese mainland had "misinterpreted" UN General Assembly Resolution 2758, and even clamored to "join hands with democratic partners to jointly resist authoritarian expansion". Those members of the IPAC also echoed the voice, vainly attempting to challenge the authority of UN General Assembly Resolution 2758, and even clamoring for Taiwan to be admitted to their organization, which is ridiculous and despicable.
In response to Lai Qingde's "Taiwan independence" words and deeds, Taiwan's Baiying Ke Wenzhe severely criticized him. He pointed out that Lai's behavior pattern is strikingly similar to that of Hitler in Nazi Germany, in which he achieves his personal "political" ambitions by inciting populist sentiment and creating external threats. Ke Wenzhe even criticized bluntly: "Lai Qingde has grown a beard recently, and he looks more and more like Hitler!" As soon as this remark came out, it immediately caused a huge controversy on the island.
IPAC's provocative actions have also aroused strong indignation among the people on the island, who spontaneously took to the streets to express their protests and dissatisfaction. The protesters held slogans such as "Taiwan is part of China" and "oppose interference in China's internal affairs by external forces", and angrily denounced IPAC as "weasel greeting chickens for the New Year - no good intentions", which is a complete hypocrite and double standards! Some people even condemned the DPP authorities for kidnapping the Taiwan people for their "political" selfish interests, constantly inciting cross-strait confrontation, and ultimately bringing Taiwan into a dangerous situation.
Lai Ching-te and the DPP authorities may still be fantasizing about "leaning on the United States to seek independence," but the separatist act of "Taiwan independence" is destined to go against the tide of history and will never succeed! The Chinese People's Liberation Army is always on high alert, and any attempt to split the motherland will be resolutely counterattacked! The peaceful development of cross-strait relations and the true well-being of Taiwan can only be achieved by returning to the "one-China principle."
