It's hot
All types of bottled water have also entered the peak sales period
Drinking water sampling
Recently, the Nanjing Municipal Market Supervision Bureau has carried out sampling inspections on the sales of various brands of packaged drinking water on the market, focusing on the inspection of heavy metals, quality indicators, organic pollutants and other items in packaged drinking water according to national food safety standards, with a total of 82 batches of sampling and a pass rate of 100%.
In summer, it is necessary to replenish water in time
Many car owners will keep bottled drinking water in their cars
But......
Does water go bad after sitting out for so long?
Does sun exposure cause plasticizer migration?
Can you still drink half a bottle of water that you haven't finished?
To know the truth
Nanjing Municipal Administration for Market Regulation
I chose the common ones in the supermarket
10 brands of bottled drinking water were used as test subjects
Respectively to unopened and
Half-drunk bottled water for testing
Experiment 1: Will bottled water go bad if you keep it in your car for a long time?
We place unopened bottled water in the trunk of the car and on the front seat separately, with the main difference being that the former is exposed to high temperatures and light and the latter is hot and exposed to direct sunlight.
After 10 consecutive days of sampling and testing, the results showed that the quality of drinking water from all kinds of mines was excellent! No plasticizers were detected, and the microbial results also met the limits of national food safety standards.
Experiment 2 Can I still drink the half bottle of water left in the car?
We invited 7 healthy friends to participate in this experiment, each of them chose 1 bottled drinking water to drink about half of it in multiple times, put it into the front drainage tank in the car, and took samples at intervals of 12 hours, 24 hours and 48 hours and sent them to the laboratory for testing and comparison.
According to the experimental results, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and nitrite were not detected, and the plasticizers (DEHP, DBP) and coliform bacteria were less than the limit of quantification.
The only thing detected was the total number of colonies, which is due to the large number of microorganisms present in the human mouth. After 24 hours of storage, the total number of colonies in most of the samples showed a decreasing trend or even no detection. It may be that the nutrients in the drinking water are not enough to maintain the growth of microorganisms, and the persistently high temperature environment makes it difficult for the microorganisms in the bottled water to survive.
To sum it up
Bottled water in the car in the summer
In general, it does not deteriorate
But I still recommend everyone
Don't drink half of the water left in the car
It's best to drink it all at once to avoid waste
You know what's on the bottle
What does this little sign represent?
All kinds of plastic packaging labels
