In order to carry forward the volunteer spirit of "dedication, fraternity, mutual assistance and progress", publicize the knowledge of unpaid blood donation, enhance the sense of social responsibility of college student volunteers, and lead college student volunteers to establish social values. On July 30, Yuncheng County Volunteer Association, Yuncheng County Youth Volunteer Association, and Yuncheng County Water Margin Social Work Service Center organized 17 college student volunteers of the "Blue Bird Program" to participate in the social practice activity of unpaid blood donation volunteer service.
During the activity, the staff of Heze Blood Station explained in detail the knowledge of unpaid blood donation and the specific measures and content of unpaid blood donation volunteer service to the college student volunteers. Under the leadership of the staff, the college student volunteers came to the blood donation vehicle to observe the blood collection work, and more intuitively felt the whole process of blood from physical examination, testing, collection and storage to the issuance of blood donation certificates.
This activity enabled the college student volunteers to further understand the significance of unpaid blood donation. Lv Hongbing, a first-year student of Shandong Women's University, said that in the future, she will actively participate in the voluntary service of unpaid blood donation, strictly abide by the relevant regulations of volunteer service, be a good volunteer propagandist of unpaid blood donation, and influence and drive more people to establish the values of caring for the society and being willing to contribute with her own practical actions, and inspire more caring people to join the team of unpaid blood donation.
