Zhao Fuqian: Bloody battle Meng Haiji

The headlines are so idle, oh...... Forget that they don't have it at all. A week has passed, and now I turn it out and say that the article "Cai Dianyuan: Reactionary Dao Huimen - A Pillar of Incense in Tianmen" was first published, and it should have been moved by Du Niang automatically, and the control was in the hands of Toutiao. The automatic forwarding function of the external station authentication interface is opened by itself, so that it is not allowed to forward, when can it be forwarded, isn't it the final say? I didn't do a good job of forwarding control strategy, but I was angry with others, how can I be unreasonable?! In addition, I can't see what does it matter if I don't choose a starter? More than 70% of the continuous first-time traffic will have the first-class income, I don't know how many stubborn donkeys can eat this carrot? Eat grass obediently, little sheep, you are the one who has been flicked wool.

In 1939, the Japanese invaders carried out the tragic "three lights" policy in the vast areas of North China, and the people suffered miserably. In the wave of strong demands from all over the country to resist Japan and save the country, Chiang Kai-shek ordered his non-descendant troops to go to the front line to fight against Japan under the pretext of resisting Japan. The conspiracy is to use the hands of the Japanese army to eliminate dissidents, preserve the strength of the lineage, and fight the Communist Party again in the future, so as to realize its dream of dictatorship.

At that time, the Eighth Division of Zhang Dongchen of the Kuomintang Army's Gao Shuxun Department had fought bloody battles with the Japanese army many times in the northern Hebei region, and the troops suffered heavy casualties and retreated to southwest Lu. With no defense and no territory, this lone army took refuge in Sun Liangcheng, director of the Luxi Agency. This ministry is not a descendant of Sun. Sun ordered the Eighth Division to the east of Cao County, and set up defenses in the vicinity of Liukou and Daqing Guji, and guarded the southern gate for him to prevent the Japanese army from attacking north along the Longhai line.

Zhang Dongchen's 8th Division fought continuously against the Japanese army in Hebei, and its personnel were greatly reduced. Named a division, it actually has a complete infantry regiment, a cavalry company, a student company, a pistol company, and more than 2,000 combat personnel. After garrisoning Caonan, he had to rest a little, recruiting new recruits on the one hand, strengthening training on the other, and successively uprooting several Japanese puppet strongholds around him, and the troops recovered slightly, and the number of men and guns increased. The anti-Japanese sentiment of the officers and men of the division was very high.

In the winter of 1939, in the northeast of our county, in the areas of Huangdian, Menghai, Dachenlou and Panlou, Sun Liangcheng's troops were stationed for a long time. There were more than 20,000 people in the Sun Yutian Division, Yu Fei's Division, Wang Qinghan's Division, and Duan Haizhou's Brigade, and the defense line was more than 100 miles, which posed a great threat to the Japanese troops stationed in Heze, Dingtao, Caoxian, Chengwu, and Juye.

On February 25, 1940 (the eighteenth day of the first lunar month), the Japanese army gathered a brigade of the elite Isogu Division and more than 7,000 Japanese troops from more than 20 counties including Yan, Ji, and He, and participated in the battle with aircraft and tanks, and began to sweep Sun Liangcheng's station. When Sun Liangcheng learned of the enemy's situation, he was panicked. He clearly knew that the main force of the Japanese army came from Jining, and Menghai was the place where the enemy must pass. He urgently ordered Zhang Dongchen's Eighth Division to go north and garrison Ma Lou and Meng Hai to defend against the enemy. After a night of rapid marching, the Eighth Division entered Malou and Menghai at 4 a.m. the next day.

When the officers and men of the Eighth Division were not at rest at night and the military meals were not used, the sentries reported that they had been surrounded by Japanese troops.

The division headquarters hurriedly deployed to meet the enemy, and in an instant, the guns rang out, and the enemy bombarded with dozens of cannons. At dawn, the west gate of the horse building was blown up, and the wall of the wall was knocked down by wheat. The officers and men of the 8th Division relied on the ruined terrain to block the enemy. By noon, the enemy rushed into the wall, and the defenders engaged in a fierce battle with him, with heavy casualties on both sides. At this time, the enemy continued to reinforce and the artillery fire was fierce; Although the defenders of the Eighth Division counterattacked many times and fought bravely, they were all defeated and were forced to retreat to Menghai to hold on.

In the afternoon of the same day, Sun Yutian's division, Wang Qinghan's division and other divisions on the southern front were all defeated by the Japanese army, and this Japanese army turned north and besieged Menghai.

The Japanese army besieging Yu Feishi, because Yu Shi was cowering in Niutun Village, was afraid of being burned and did not dare to resist, and this Japanese army also came to besiege Meng Hai. The 8th Division was surrounded by three Japanese forces. The Japanese army used more than 100 mountain, field, and heavy artillery pieces to bombard Menghai Village, which was only 100 households at that time, and more than 1,000 shells were poured in one hour. There are many bomb craters in the village, the houses are fragmented, the houses are collapsed, and the fireworks are empty. At two o'clock in the afternoon, the Japanese army attacked Menghai Village, and the defenders of the Eighth Division fought street battles with the enemy, fighting street by street and courtyard. Under the condition that the enemy's artillery fire was fierce, the defenders had no reinforcements to relieve the siege, and the officers and men suffered heavy casualties, they urgently ordered a retreat to break through the siege. At that time, the troops were in chaos, and Yuan Renzhi's regiment deputy Fen Yong acted as a temporary commander, leading his troops to break through to the east, and was frantically strafed by more than 20 machine guns of the Japanese army that had already been ambushed. Wang Quanji, the main commander of the Eighth Division, was shot seven times in the body during the breakout and sacrificed his life for the country. What is even more tragic is that the student company of the department, more than 150 student soldiers, in order to resist the Japanese invaders, threw their pens from Rong, in this battle was surrounded by the Japanese army in a courtyard, the Japanese invaders used machine guns to shoot wildly, but none of them surrendered, and the officers and men of the whole company were martyred for the country.

At four o'clock in the afternoon, the battle ended. In the evening, the remnants of the army were gathered in Geji, and there were less than 200 wounded. Around the battlefield, some of the wounded were rescued (many officers and soldiers were killed by the Japanese after being wounded), and retreated to the Huatang area that night. Due to the cold weather, thin clothing, and lack of medicine, many of the wounded suffered minor injuries and became serious, and the seriously injured continued to die. Division commander Zhang Dongchen personally asked Sun Liangcheng for medicine to treat the wounded, and asked for blood to bury the dead officers and soldiers, and then sent Feng Shoufu, director of the quartermaster department, to buy land and build forests in the north of Menghai's East Gate Road, and erect a monument to commemorate it. After the burial of the dead soldiers, Zhang Dongchen personally led his subordinates to mourn, deeply grieved, and wept silently; The people present at that time, seeing this situation, all wept with grief.

When the Eighth Division was mourning the fallen soldiers, Sun Liangcheng had surrendered to the Japanese and became the "Commander-in-Chief of the Second Front Army of Luxi".

and ordered Zhang Dongchen to recruit troops and raise guns, and then become the division commander. Zhang Wenzhi was extremely indignant. With the call of the old department, dissect his own aspirations: I am a Chinese soldier, and it is my duty to defend the land and the outside, such as in the national crisis, lose the national festival, act as a Japanese traitor, I am sorry for the Hebei father (most of his troops are Hebei people), and I am even more sorry for the soldiers who spilled blood on the battlefield! He sold his horses and distributed them to the wounded, and led the only remaining 100 people after the war to fight against the Japanese invaders.

The fathers and elders in the northeastern part of our county still talk about the feats of this unit in the bloody battle against the Japanese invaders in Menghai, and they still have a solemn respect for the patriotic sincerity of the officers and men of the Eighth Division, and those soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country are still remembered by the people.
