Diverse cartoon foliage, colorful scenery...... As the weather gradually warms up, the neighborhood garden of Changqiao Sixth Village, Changqiao Street, Xuhui District, has quietly changed. "This neighborhood garden is really refreshing now, and it's in a good mood to walk by every day." Said a resident passing by.
The "Flowers" Autonomy Project of Changqiao Seven Villages is a micro-renovation project designed and implemented by the Good Neighbor Community Life Comprehensive Service Center according to the ideas put forward by the residents and the promotion of the annual autonomy project. A few days ago, the neighborhood committee combined with the summer activities of teenagers, and joined hands with a third party and Guo Jinghui, the director of the micro-landscape, to carry out the summer flower drawing activity.
The third-party teacher introduced the characteristics of common trees to the children and explained the color matching of paintings. Under the guidance of the teacher, the children carefully made an "ID card" for the community plants - plant identification plates. The nameplates designed by the children have their own characteristics, so that the residents of the community can learn about these plants.
Under the leadership of the principal, Guo Jinghui, the children visited the small garden that they usually don't care about, learned about different flowers and trees, and took photos with the trees with nameplates hanging on them. The brand-new nameplates and the vivid plants complement each other to make it clear at a glance. During the listing process, the children were enthusiastic and said that they also wanted to add color to the community.
The hand-painted stone pavement is located in the central area of the neighborhood garden and is a must for the daily walk of the neighborhood. In this beautification activity, the children selected dozens of stone slabs on the path, and used rich colors and unique creativity to build the stone road into a colorful and vibrant art corridor, adding "flowers" to the "scenery" of the community.
This activity not only allowed the children to increase their knowledge of botany, but also allowed the children to further experience the beauty of life and nature. The staff of the Changqiao No. 7 Village Neighborhood Committee said that they will continue to drive more community residents to actively participate in the greening and autonomy of the neighborhood garden, and strengthen the residents' sense of participation and gain.
