Anyway, as long as you are canonized as a god, it means that before that, you have to experience death first, and because of this, many people think that being on the list of gods is far less good than being sanctified in the flesh.
So, is that really the case?
After the end of the War of the Gods, a total of seven people were sanctified in the flesh, they were: Li Jing, Jin Zha, Mu Zha, Nezha, Yang Jian, Lei Zhenzi, and Wei Hu.
Of course, the so-called "sanctification" here does not mean that they all became mixed Yuan Daluo Jin Immortals like Yuan Shi Tianzun, at best, they helped Jiang Ziya to destroy Xingzhou and had merit, so they used the word "saint" to describe them.
Compared with being on the list of gods, the sanctification of the flesh does occupy three major advantages, namely:

For this, the seven sanctified beings do not have to suffer from fear and despair because they do not have to experience death;

And the seven sanctified in the flesh, after bidding farewell to King Wu and Jiang Ziya, each returned to the mountain to continue their cultivation, which means that they will still be unrestrained in the world as immortal cultivators;
Third, cultivation is promotion; Being on the list of gods also means that they will lose their physical bodies, so that these gods who live in soul form will not be able to improve their cultivation.
In other words, what cultivation they did before they became gods, and what kind of cultivation they still did after becoming gods of the heavenly court.
As for the seven who are said to be sanctified in the flesh, through their own cultivation, they can further improve their strength, if they can escape the disasters again and again, through cultivation, it is not impossible for them to become the Mixed Yuan Daluo Golden Immortal!
Of course, the sanctification of the flesh is not completely better than that of the gods on the list, at least in two aspects, the sanctification of the gods on the list is better than the sanctification of the flesh, namely:

There is also Bo Yi Kao, who was named the Emperor of Zhongtian Arctic Ziwei, and his status is even said to be on an equal footing with Haotian God.
