A clerk at a fast-food restaurant in Atlanta was caught on camera, and he was alone in the thrilling process of repelling the robbers.
He was alone in the store at the time of the incident, and the gangsters wearing sunglasses and masks suddenly broke into the kitchen, pointed a gun at him and threatened to open the safe, otherwise they would shoot him on the spot, and the police later confirmed that the robber was a 51-year-old man, Tommie Lee Williams.
The incident occurred at 4:30 a.m. on July 1 in Chick-fil-A, a local fast-food chain in Atlanta, and the surveillance footage captured that when Kevin Blair was in the store, Williams, who was heavily armed, first smashed the glass window with a stone, and suddenly rushed to the kitchen and robbed at gunpoint.
Blair said that even though he indicated that he did not have the authority to open the safe, the other party did not believe it, and the two men later engaged in a scuffle in the kitchen, and he kept trying to knock away Williams's gun without a weapon, and finally succeeded in repelling the gunman.
During the scuffle, Blair also successfully removed Williams's face mask and sunglasses, allowing the monitor to capture his face, and the police later tracked the suspect's vehicle to confirm that the suspect was Williams, and formally arrested the person on July 31, charging with armed robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm, destruction of property, etc., and is currently being held in Gwinnett Jail (Gwinnett) pending trial.
