Maria Menendez Betancourt faces charges of theft and burglary for several incidents at the Venetian Palazzo Hotel in Las Vegas, and she has not yet pleaded plea, KLAS reported.

Later that month, hotel security called the police to say they had detained Betancourt in connection with another incident, believing she had stolen more than $110,000 from a guest.

On 18 June, the police detained Betancourt. They noticed that she was wearing a gold bracelet that was allegedly stolen from an earlier incident.
On July 12, the police arrested Betancourt again on new charges, according to the documents.
As of Wednesday, Betancourt had three ongoing cases in the Las Vegas Judicial Court. She was released after paying bail, and the judge ordered her to stay away from the Las Vegas Strip.
