Hong Guangxiang, the second master of traditional Chinese medicine, chief physician of the Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Lung cancer, also known as primary bronchopulmonary cancer, has developed into a malignant tumor disease that seriously affects human health with the development of modern society, and the incidence rate is increasing year by year. The treatment of early-stage lung cancer is mainly surgery. Radiotherapy and chemotherapy are often used in the treatment of patients with advanced lung cancer, but due to the toxicity and sensitivity of chemoradiotherapy, there are insurmountable defects.

Lung cancer has been recorded in ancient Chinese medicine literature, which belongs to the category of "hemoptysis", "accumulation", "ruffianism" and "cough". "Su Wen · Treatise on Strange Diseases" describes: "Under the threat of illness, the qi is full of reverse...... The name of the disease is said to be accumulation, and this may as well be eaten. "The medicine Li Dongyuan of the Jin and Yuan dynasties prescribed a pill for the treatment of lung accumulation, and the symptoms of the disease treated by the drug are very similar to those of lung cancer. Hong Guangxiang, a master of traditional Chinese medicine, used the treatment method of Fuzheng to dispel evil spirits, and after his long-term repeated verification in clinical practice, the treatment effect of lung cancer patients is not only to significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients, but also to better regulate the body's immune function, stabilize or even shrink the lesions, so as to achieve the effect of prolonging the survival of patients.

Typing and treatment

● Blood stasis obstructs the lungs

Main symptoms: dull complexion, dark purple tongue with ecchymosis, thick and distended sublingual veins, accompanied by miliary hyperplasia, chest pain with fixed place, accompanied by cough, phlegm, or combined with bloody sputum, chest tightness and breathlessness, lack of appetite, fatigue, and weight loss. This type is more common in squamous cell carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, and undifferentiated carcinoma. The treatment is mainly to remove blood stasis and eliminate symptoms, strengthen the spleen. Commonly used medicines: euonymus, cat's claw, peach kernel, turtle shell, sumac, melon bark, turmeric, codonopsis (or ginseng), atractylodes, coix seed, red dates.

● Disease and stasis are intertwined

When it comes to lung cancer, we first need to think of the abnormality of the lungs (direct manifestations: cough and phlegm, non-cough is phlegm, non-phlegm is cough, and phlegm cough exists), and secondly, we should further think of the abnormality of the function of the lungs towards the hundred pulses and auxiliary heart to carry blood and fluid (pathogenesis process: from phlegm obstruction to blood accumulation to blood and qi formation to cancer mass formation). This is the formation and harm of lung cancer and its pathological products. "The coagulation of blood is contained in the body but not dispersed, the fluid is astringent and seeps, and the accumulation is not gone, and the accumulation is all complete" ("Lingshu · the Beginning of a Hundred Diseases"), clinical differentiation and treatment, combined with phlegm and stasis to form a pathogenesis, and the method of dissolving phlegm and activating blood must not be ignored.

● Positive deficiency and stasis

In the specific selection of Fuzheng drugs, drugs that have the effect of nourishing the lungs and nourishing yin, nourishing the liver and kidneys, such as sand ginseng, Schisandra chinensis, Ophiopogon vulgaris, Yamagi meat, raw and cooked Rehmannia root, red white peony, Radix radix, Lily, turtle shell, tortoise shell, etc.; To strengthen the spleen and invigorate qi, Poria cocos, five-finger peach, Codonopsis, Astragalus, Huai Yam, Atractylodes, Sand Kernel, Tangerine Peel, etc. are often used. When warming the kidneys, it is commonly used to warm the kidneys, such as purple river car, cooked attached tablets, epimedium weed, Morinda officinalis and other products that benefit the kidney and warm yang to warm the spleen and yang, and strengthen the effect of invigorating qi and strengthening the spleen.

On the basis of the treatment of strengthening and consolidating the foundation, after restoring the patient's inner righteousness and maintaining the stability of the condition, according to the essential understanding of "deficiency and stasis", drugs for detoxification and heat clearing, regulating qi and dissolving phlegm, and softening and dissolving knots are selected as appropriate. soft and hard to disperse phlegm, such as whole scorpion, curcuma, cannon beetle, soaphorn thorn, turtle insect, triangular and so on; such as peach kernel, Wang Buliuxing, safflower, Sanleng, curcuma, Tianqi, salvia, etc.; Detoxification and heat clearing often use seven-leaf flower, white-flowered snake tongue grass, knotweed, scutellaria, prunella vulgaris, mountain mushroom, etc.

Treatment and care complement each other

Due to the long treatment process of lung cancer, patients often have emotional fluctuations during the treatment period, prone to nervousness, depression, sadness, etc., and have a negative impact on the treatment of emotions and pessimistic attitudes, so in the process of treating lung cancer, not only the importance of drug treatment is emphasized, but also the daily mood and diet of patients are also emphasized.

In terms of emotion, on the one hand, we should start with communication and enlighten patients in a timely manner, so that patients can have an optimistic and positive treatment attitude towards lung cancer, establish confidence in overcoming the disease, and avoid negative emotions affecting patients. At the same time, in terms of treatment medication, according to the patient's clinical symptoms, roses, green calyx, tulip, acacia bark, Bupleurum and other drugs with the effect of soothing the liver and regulating qi and relieving depression are often added. The combination of emotional therapy and drug therapy can also play a certain role in the treatment of diseases. Secondly, in terms of daily life, patients are often advised to quit smoking and alcohol, try to eat less pickled and moldy food, eat more fresh vegetables, fruits and nutritious food, and supplement it with appropriate exercise to avoid overwork.
