Manifestations of cold and dampness in the body:

The spleen and stomach like warmth rather than cold. Excessive intake of raw and cold foods such as melons and fruits, ice cream, and cold drinks on dog days will damage the yang qi of the spleen and stomach, resulting in deficiency and cold in the spleen and stomach.
■ Inappropriate use of air conditioners
In hot weather, fans and air conditioners are necessities, but two points should be noted: (1) do not blow 24 hours a day; (2) Do not blow directly into the wind. Otherwise, it will also lead to cold and dampness entering the body, and even pain and discomfort in bones and joints. Severe cases can also lead to diseases such as frozen shoulder, cervical spondylosis, low back pain, arthritis, etc.
