The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that from now on, the central task of the Communist Party of China is to unite and lead the people of all ethnic groups across the country to build a great modern socialist country in an all-round way, realize the second centenary goal, and comprehensively promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese-style modernization. At the same time, the report stressed that the whole party must keep in mind that the comprehensive and strict governance of the party is always on the road, and the party's self-revolution is always on the road, and there must be no relaxation, fatigue and war-weariness, and must persistently promote the comprehensive and strict governance of the party, deeply promote the new great project of party building in the new era, and lead the social revolution with the party's self-revolution. It can be seen that the Party's self-revolution is intrinsically related to the realization of Chinese-style modernization, and the Party's self-revolution is not only the key to the Party's eternal vitality, but also a powerful engine to promote the continuous development of the modernization process. Adhering to the Party's self-revolution is an important guarantee for promoting Chinese-style modernization, which deepens our understanding of the long-term ruling law of the Communist Party of China, promotes the process of Chinese-style modernization to a new level, and creates a new form of Chinese-style human civilization that surpasses Western civilization.

The theoretical logic of promoting Chinese-style modernization through the Party's self-revolution

Promoting Chinese-style modernization through the Party's self-revolution is to adhere to the Marxist theoretical self-confidence and theoretical consciousness of the basic principles of philosophy, political economy, and Party building.

First, the Party's self-revolution to promote Chinese-style modernization is in line with the basic principles of historical materialism that social existence determines social consciousness, social consciousness reacts on social existence, and social contradiction movement promotes social development. Historical materialism holds that advanced social consciousness has a counterproductive effect on promoting social development and social change, so it is necessary to carry out ideological and conceptual self-revolution to promote Chinese-style modernization. As Marx and Engels pointed out in the Communist Manifesto, the communist revolution is the most radical break with traditional ownership relations; It is not surprising that in the course of its own development, it has made the most radical break with traditional notions. Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, and the Communist Party of China (CPC) has combined the basic tenets of Marxism with China's specific conditions and with China's excellent traditional culture, and founded Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Therefore, to promote Chinese-style modernization through the party's self-revolution, we must persist in ideological self-revolution and lead the development of Chinese-style modernization with advanced ideology and theory.

At the same time, historical materialism adheres to the basic principle that the movement of basic social contradictions promotes the development of human society, so to promote Chinese-style modernization, it is necessary to adjust and transform the relations of production or the self-revolution in the practical activities of the superstructure to adapt to the development of the productive forces or the economic base. As Marx and Engels pointed out in The German Ideology, only in the revolution can we throw away all the old dirt in ourselves and be competent in the work of rebuilding society. In the practice of long-term governance, the Communist Party of China has consciously strengthened its own advanced nature and purity, and provided a strong political guarantee for Chinese-style modernization. Therefore, to promote Chinese-style modernization through the Party's self-revolution, we must adhere to the self-revolution in practical activities.

Second, promoting Chinese-style modernization through the Party's self-revolution is in line with the basic principles of Marxist political economy on common prosperity for all people. In his Critique of Political Economy (1857-1858 manuscript), Marx pointed out that the working masses themselves should own their surplus labour...... The productive forces of society will develop so rapidly that, notwithstanding the fact that production will be aimed at the enrichment of all, the free time of all will increase. That is to say, the transformation of the relations of production and social relations has enabled the masses of workers to take possession of their surplus labor, develop the social productive forces, and thus achieve common prosperity for all the people. In the new era and new journey, the Communist Party of China (CPC) has adhered to self-revolution, continuously enhanced the party's advanced nature and purity, always represented the fundamental interests of the broadest masses of the people in China, comprehensively deepened reform, and promoted high-quality economic development. Therefore, to promote Chinese-style modernization through the Party's self-revolution, we must adhere to self-purification, self-improvement, self-innovation, and self-improvement, and self-revolution that dares to struggle and is good at fighting.

Third, promoting Chinese-style modernization through the party's self-revolution is in line with the inevitable requirements of party building. The Communist Party of China is the vanguard of the Chinese working class, the vanguard of the Chinese people and the Chinese nation, and the core of leadership for the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. That is to say, upholding the nature of the Party inevitably requires the Party's self-revolution, the strengthening of the Party's overall leadership, and the fulfillment of the Party's central task, and the current central task of the Communist Party of China is to unite and lead the people of all ethnic groups across the country to build a modern socialist country in an all-round way, realize the second centenary goal, and comprehensively promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese-style modernization. Therefore, to promote Chinese-style modernization through the Party's self-revolution, we must adhere to the self-revolution under the centralized and unified leadership of the Party Central Committee.

The historical logic of promoting Chinese-style modernization through the Party's self-revolution

Promoting Chinese-style modernization through the Party's self-revolution is the historical consciousness and initiative to strive for national independence and the people's liberation, establish a socialist system and a modern industrial system, carry out reform, opening up and socialist modernization, and comprehensively promote socialist modernization.

First, the Party's self-revolution promoted the victory of the new democratic revolution and opened the prelude to Chinese-style modernization. During the period of the new democratic revolution, the Party's self-revolution strengthened ideological and political education, struggled against erroneous ideological lines such as simple defense, escapism, subjectivism and dogmatism within the Party, and established the ideological line of seeking truth from facts. In terms of organizational system, the principle of democratic centralism of "the individual is subordinate to the organization, the minority is subordinate to the majority, the lower levels are subordinate to the superiors, and all leadership is concentrated in the central authorities" has been established, and the unity within the party has been strengthened, thus opening the prelude to Chinese-style modernization in the struggle for national independence and the people's liberation.

Second, the Party's self-revolution promotes socialist revolution and construction, and lays the cornerstone of Chinese-style modernization. During the period of socialist revolution and construction, the Party's self-revolution carried out theoretical innovations in ideology and politics, formed the "On the Ten Major Relations" and the Party's general line in the transitional period, successfully carried out socialist transformation of agriculture, handicrafts, and capitalist industry and commerce, and perfected the socialist political and economic system. In terms of organizational style, the rectification campaign and the anti-corruption struggle have been carried out, and the party's organizational composition and the quality of party members have been markedly improved. In terms of laws and regulations, the Constitution of the People's Republic of China has been formulated to improve the party's organization and propaganda and ideological system, so as to lay the cornerstone of Chinese-style modernization in consolidating the socialist system and building a socialist country.

Third, the Party's self-revolution has promoted reform, opening up and socialist modernization, and accelerated the process of Chinese-style modernization. During the period of reform and opening up and socialist modernization, the Party's self-revolution carried out a great discussion on the criterion of truth in ideology and politics, emancipated the mind, broke the ideological shackles of the planned economy and the market economy as the attributes of the social system, and created a theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Carry out a comprehensive rectification of the party's organizational style, unify the thinking of the whole party, and strengthen the party's discipline; In terms of laws and regulations, we will continue to improve the system of Party congresses, the system of collective leadership of the Party, and the socialist legal system with Chinese characteristics, so as to accelerate the process of Chinese-style modernization in the development of the socialist system and the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country.

Fourth, the Party's self-revolution has comprehensively promoted socialist modernization and opened up a new realm of Chinese-style modernization. Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, and the Party's self-revolution has adhered to and strengthened the Party's overall leadership ideologically and politically, reformed the Party and state institutions, and put forward a new development concept of innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing. In terms of organizational style, we will implement the eight regulations of the Central Committee, carry out educational activities such as "three stricts and three realities", "two studies and one action", "not forgetting the original intention and keeping the mission in mind", and party history learning, strictly enforce the party's discipline and rules, and guide the construction of party style and clean government and the fight against corruption in depth; In terms of laws and regulations, we should improve the party's leadership system and mechanism, consolidate the institutional guarantee of the party's organizations and cadres, and form a relatively perfect system of the party's self-revolution system and norms, so as to open up a new realm of Chinese-style modernization in the new journey of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way.

The practical logic of promoting Chinese-style modernization through the Party's self-revolution

Promoting Chinese-style modernization through the Party's self-revolution is a practical exploration and practical innovation to promote Chinese-style modernization under the guidance of the Party's ideology and theory, with the Party's political organization as the guarantee, and the Party's fighting spirit and anti-corruption struggle as the driving force.

First, the Party's self-revolution promotes the Party's ideological construction and leads the development of Chinese-style modernization. The report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that arming the whole party with the party's innovative theories is the fundamental task of the party's ideological construction. Third, the Party's self-revolution promotes the development of the fighting spirit and the improvement of the fighting ability, and promotes the development of Chinese-style modernization. Courage to struggle is the basic experience of the Communist Party of China in the historical process of revolution, construction, reform, and rejuvenation. At present, to comprehensively promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese-style modernization, we must continue to carry forward the spirit of struggle and enhance the ability to struggle, carry out a new great struggle, and promote Chinese-style modernization with the Party's self-revolution. General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that struggle is an art, and we must be good at fighting. From the perspective of dialectical materialism, dialectical negation is a positive promotion and abandonment, and the anti-corruption struggle is the dialectical negation of self-revolution.
