Recently, residents living in Yalong Community, Jinguang Road, Kunming City, found that a household in the community actually raised wasps on their balconies, and these wasps were flying around.
On the afternoon of August 5, the reporter came to the scene and saw that the hornet's nest was fixed with a bamboo pole and hung in the air on the balcony on the fourth floor, which looked bigger than a basketball. Perhaps worried about the dampness of the honeycomb, the host also built a roof with cardboard.
The reporter noticed that a smaller honeycomb was also hung outside another window next to it, and a wooden beehive was placed on the side.
Residents of the community: "When I looked up, I saw a big hornet's nest hanging, it would sting people, and then there were often (people) walking babies in the small garden, and the elderly could be stung." ”

Residents: Deal with it immediately
Residents of the community said that the residents on the fourth floor were hornets that they had started raising three days ago. In order not to affect the relationship between the neighbours, they reported to the property management, but with little success.
When the reporter was about to go to the fourth floor to understand the situation, the resident happened to come downstairs.
Reporter: "When did you get it back?" ”
Resident on the fourth floor: "We mainly like to play in the mountains, and we caught it a few days ago and raised it ourselves." ”
Reporter: "Are you afraid?" ”
Fourth-floor resident: "We're not afraid, we'll deal with it at night." ”
meanwhile
The property management of the community also rushed to the bottom of the 6 buildings

Community property management: "(We) first inform in writing and let him (the residents on the fourth floor) deal with it, because this is a residential community that does not allow (wasps), if he does not implement the treatment, we will report to the relevant departments to deal with it." ”
What should I do when I encounter a wasp?
Hornets are not sensitive to stationary things, but they can see objects in motion very clearly, and the more they run, the easier it is to be chased by swarms.
(1) When attacked by wasps, do not run and slap in panic. Try to find an enclosed space such as a building or a car nearby, and take shelter. If there is no enclosed space, it is best not to run or pounce, but to squat immediately and stay still, quickly wrap the head and neck with clothing, curl up the body, reduce the exposed parts, and leave slowly after the hornet leaves.
(2) If honeycombs are found in the city, do not deal with them yourself, but should report to the greening management department and they will deal with it.
How venomous are wasps? What should I do if I am stung by a wasp? It is known that the venom of a hornet's sting contains phospholipase, hyaluronidase, and a protein known as antigen 5, and the principles for dealing with a hornet's sting after being stung are as follows:
· Wasp venom is weakly alkaline, can be vinegar or 1% acetic acid or indefatterous paste to scrub the wound;
· If the wound remains stinger, you can pick it out with a needle or forceps, but do not squeeze it, so as not to enter the body with the remaining toxins;
· Then use cupping to suck out the poison juice to reduce the absorption of the toxin;
· or apply ice to the bite to reduce pain and swelling;
· If the pain is severe, you can take some painkillers;
· If there is a tendency to spread, there may be an allergic reaction, you can take some anti-allergic drugs;
· Observe closely for about half an hour, and if you find that you have difficulty breathing, your breathing voice becomes thick, you have a wheezing sound, or you are dizzy or unconscious, you should immediately send it to the nearest hospital for first aid.
