Source of the word
The problem of using words in seal carving has always been a difficult point in the creation of contemporary seal carving art. In addition to sticking to Xu Shen's "Saying Wen Jie Zi", what other basis can there be? What can those who do not record the "Sayings" do? The ancient Indians also left us a "way out" in the side paragraphs.
The word "clam" is not recorded in the "Shuowen", and now it is made as "Hepear" from "Huainanzi". (Zhong Yijing's "and eat pear" side paragraph)
There is no "fall" in "Sayings",
It is the seal text of "隓", and the "隓" discipline "defeats the city", and the righteousness is not close. Case "team" under the clouds: from the high team also. Historically, the evolution of language has been adapted to social and cultural development. The 9,353 characters collected by Xu Shen's "Shuowen" in the Eastern Han Dynasty have long been unable to meet the needs of the Qing Dynasty.
As quoted above, the word "soft" is not found in the "Shuowen", but the meaning of "偄" is the same, and the ancient character is also commonly used as "耎", so it can be borrowed from "偄" as "soft". In addition, ancient books, ancient artifacts and words with similar sounds can also be appropriately used.

Professor Han Tianyong, an expert in the study of seal carving in China and Japan, has been working for nearly 20 years, collecting all kinds of precious materials at home and abroad, picking up and filling in the gaps, and compiling the most complete reference book for the current research on the side of printing!
After nearly 20 years, the book was finally published, and at present, it is the first of its kind.
According to Han Tianheng's "Chronology of Chinese Seals", He Yuanxi, He Peng and his son's "Xiling Four Family Seals" is the earliest collection of side sections.
However, this kind of traditional printing has few interpretations of the content of the side paragraphs, and even if there is, it is scattered in many printing books.
As for those who specialize in printing, until the end of the Qing Dynasty, there were only two books, "Yanlin Printing" and "Seven Family Seals", the former recorded more than 70 text contents engraved by Ding Jing's seal, and the latter was suspected of falsification.
