The center of this year's No. 11 typhoon "Capricorn" (super typhoon level) was located at 5 o'clock this morning (September 6) on the northwest sea surface of the South China Sea, about 205 kilometers east of Wenchang City, Hainan Province, that is, 19.2 degrees north latitude and 112.7 degrees east longitude, the maximum wind force near the center is more than 17 (68 m/s), the minimum pressure at the center is 905 hPa, the radius of the seven-level wind circle is 300-350 kilometers, the radius of the ten-level wind circle is 120 kilometers, and the radius of the twelve-level wind circle is 60 kilometers.
It is expected that "Capricorn" will move west-northward at a speed of 10-15 kilometers per hour with little change in intensity, and will make landfall on the coast from Qionghai in Hainan to Zhanjiang in Guangdong from this afternoon to evening (super typhoon scale, 17 or above 17, 60-65 m / s), the maximum possibility of landfall in the coast of Wenchang in Hainan to Leizhou in Guangdong, and then move into the sea surface of the Beibu Gulf, and make landfall again on the afternoon of the 7th in the coastal area from Fangchenggang in Guangxi to northern Viet Nam (typhoon or strong typhoon scale, 13-14, 40-45 m/s), after which the intensity decreases rapidly.
Gale forecast: From 8 o'clock on September 6 to 8 o'clock on the 7th, there will be 6-8 gale force winds in most parts of the South China Sea, southwestern Guangxi and the coast of Guangdong, Hainan Island and its coast, and southern Guangxi and its coast, and some sea areas in the north and central part of the South China Sea, Beibu Gulf, Qiongzhou Strait, western coast of Guangdong, northern and eastern coast of Hainan Island will have 9-12 gales, and the wind strength of the nearby sea areas or areas where the center of "Capricorn" passes can reach more than 13-17.
Precipitation forecast: From 8 o'clock on September 6 to 8 o'clock on the 7th, there will be heavy to heavy rain in the southeast of Guangxi, southeast Guangxi and Hainan Island, some of which have heavy rain, and the southwest coast of Guangxi, the central and western parts of Hainan Island and the north of the local heavy rain (250~500 mm).

Affected by Typhoon No. 11 "Capricorn" (super typhoon level) this year, it is expected that from the morning of September 6 to the morning of September 7, there will be a storm increase of 60 to 200 cm along the coast of the Pearl River Estuary to Yangjiang in Guangdong, 200 to 530 cm of storm water will occur along the east coast of Maoming to Leizhou Peninsula in Guangdong, and 100 to 230 cm of storm water will occur along the northern coast of Hainan Island.
- The storm surge warning level for Maoming, Zhanjiang, Haikou and Wenchang in Guangdong Province is red;
- The storm surge warning level in Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, is yellow;
- The storm surge warning level is blue for Guangzhou, Zhongshan, Zhuhai, Jiangmen and Qionghai in Hainan Province in Guangdong Province.

Due to the impact of Typhoon No. 11 "Capricorn" (super typhoon level) this year, it is expected to be from noon on September 6 to noon on the 7th.
- There will be 8 to 13 meters of rough to rough waves in the northern part of the South China Sea, and 6 to 9 meters of rough to rough waves in the Beibu Gulf, and the wave warning level in the offshore waters is orange;
- There will be 4 to 7 meters of high waves to wild waves in the coastal waters of western Guangdong, northern Hainan and eastern coastal waters, and the wave warning level in the coastal waters is red.
- There will be huge waves of 4 to 5.5 meters in the coastal waters of Guangxi, and the wave warning level in the coastal waters is orange.
- Large waves of 2.5 to 4 meters will occur in the coastal waters of eastern Guangdong, southern Hainan and western China, and the wave warning level in this coastal area is yellow.
