On September 9, the 2024 "Longhua Baiju Cup" Go Master Mixed Doubles Tournament kicked off at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Longhua. The competition is a two-player joint chess, and 4 groups of partners are produced after drawing, two by two, and a single-elimination system is adopted. After 2 rounds of competition, Shi Yue 9th Duan/Chu Keer 3rd Duan won the championship, Luo Xihe 9th Duan/Zhang Xuan 8th Duan won the runner-up, Gu Li 9th Duan/Xu Jingqi 3rd Duan, Yang Kaiwen 9th Duan/Wen Zhaojing Chu Duan tied for third place.

In recent years, Longhua has taken Go as an important carrier for inheriting the excellent traditional Chinese culture and an important starting point for the construction of public culture and sports, vigorously popularizing the game of Go and developing the cause of Go, and has successively introduced world-class Go masters such as Luo Xihe to build a high-level professional team of Longhua Go team, and Go has become an important fulcrum for the development of Longhua's cultural and sports undertakings and the construction of spiritual civilization.
At the opening ceremony, Wang Wei, Secretary of the Longhua District Party Committee, welcomed the arrival of all the chess players, sent blessings to the cause of Chinese Go, and put forward higher expectations for the development of Longhua Go.

In the 2023 "Longhua Hundred Games Cup" Go Masters, the world champion Gu Li defeated several strong opponents to win the championship. Coming to Longhua again to participate in the competition this year, he said: "This year's competition system is innovative and the scale of participation is large, and I am full of expectations for this competition. It is expected that the game will inspire and collide, show the unique charm and vitality of Go, and bring a different viewing experience to Go lovers. Gu Li also said that in terms of the development of the Go industry, Shenzhen Go is at the forefront of the country; Longhua is an important driving force for the high-quality development of Shenzhen's Go industry. "These events, which embody the hard work and sweat of countless Go people, have jointly drawn a colorful picture of the development of Go and made positive contributions to the inheritance and development of Go culture." It is understood that among the 8 participating chess players, Gu Li, Luo Xihe, Zhang Xuan, and Shi Yue have all won the honor of world champions, Yang Kaiwen is the current holder of the title of "Great Chess Player" in Chinese Go, and Xu Jingqi, Chu Keer, and Wen Zhaojing are three rising "post-00" chess players. According to the rules, the game basically takes one hour for each side, with three 30-second counts. The female chess player guesses first, and the male chess player makes the first move, and the order of the moves naturally rotates. After 2 rounds of competition, Shi Yue/Chu Keer won the championship, Luo Xihe/Zhang Xuan won the runner-up, and Gu Li/Xu Jingqi, Yang Kaiwen/Wen Zhaojing tied for the third place.
Liang Weitang, chairman of the Guangdong Weiqi Association, said that the participants in this competition are all top masters in the first line, Gu Li has won eight Go world championships, and Shi Yue is the main force of the Shenzhen Longhua team. Double chess, a grandmaster with a novice, a novel form can attract more attention.
On September 10th, Luo Xihe, Yang Kaiwen, Xu Jingqi, Chu Keer and Wen Zhaojing will enter Shenzhen Longhua Foreign Language Chinese Senior High School to carry out Go activities on campus, interact closely with Longhua young chess players, and explore the wonderful world of chess together.
