From September 12 to 16, the 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services (hereinafter referred to as "CIFTIS") will be held at the China National Convention Center and Shougang Park in Beijing. In order to better meet the needs of citizens for travel and exhibition viewing during the CIFTIS, the city's transportation department has taken multiple measures to ensure transportation services, increased the capacity of Metro Line 8, and formulated support plans for ground buses in advance. During the CIFTIS, the traffic pressure around the exhibition hall increased. Among them, the 12th to the 14th is the professional visitor day, and the 15th to the 16th is the public open day. During the conference, Fushi Road, Shijingshan Road, Datun Road and other road traffic pressure is high, and some road sections are prone to traffic concentration. From now until the 16th, the traffic pressure on Tianchen West Road and Tianchen East Road around the venue is high, and you can bypass Beichen West Road, National Stadium North Road, Datun Road, and Beichen East Road.
On September 12 (Thursday), the opening of the CIFTIS, the morning peak commuting, commuting and other travel needs are superimposed, and some roads around the National Convention Center will take temporary traffic management measures in different sections and sections, and the short-term traffic pressure around the National Convention Center and Shougang Park is greater. It is recommended that the public arrange their plans reasonably and give priority to public transportation and green travel.
Rail transit focuses on ensuring the capacity of subway lines around the two exhibition areas, and strengthens the organization of passenger transport at stations in view of the large passenger flow that may occur in the morning and evening peaks. Line 8 will increase the capacity in a timely manner according to the passenger flow, and Line 11 will increase the number of trains running online during the peak hours of admission from 8:30 to 10:30 and from 16:30 to 18:30 every day, with a minimum interval of 5 minutes and 45 seconds to meet the travel needs of visitors.
In view of the possible large passenger flow of the subway, the ground bus has formulated a support plan in advance and made a good reserve of transportation capacity. The passenger dedicated No. 108 route passing through the Shougang Pilot Plant will be replaced with large-capacity models, the number of trains during peak hours on holidays and weekdays will be increased, and motor vehicles will be arranged near Shougang West 10th Winter Olympic Square Station and the ancient city according to the flow of passengers entering and leaving the site, and the line will be operated in a timely manner. At the same time, the 992 route will focus on increasing the capacity investment from Shougang Pilot Plant to Gucheng Metro Station during the end of each session, arrange scheduling posts at Shougang Pilot Plant Station during peak passenger flow hours, and equip motor vehicles around Zengshengzhuang to join the line operation in a timely manner to ensure that the audience travels.
In addition, taxi (online hailing) vehicles have strengthened the service guarantee of connection points, combined with the daily peak reception of the two exhibition areas, flexibly set up taxi connection points in the surrounding areas, and reasonably allocated transportation capacity. Standardize the operation order and prevent the occurrence of phenomena such as refusal to load, detours, and price negotiations.
In terms of bicycle sharing, special personnel will be arranged to guide cyclists at rail stations and key intersections around the CIFTIS during peak hours, guiding users to pick up vehicles in an orderly manner and standardize the parking of vehicles; Do a good job of dispatching and stacking, and clean up the silted vehicles in a timely manner to ensure that the vehicles are placed neatly and operated in an orderly manner.
Parking services around the exhibition hall will also be optimized. On the premise of ensuring safety, the two central areas of Datun Road (north of the National Convention Center and the north side of the National Convention Center Hotel) are used as security parking lots, and on-site personnel are stationed on duty to standardize the order of road parking, and urge all registered commercial parking lots to be opened as much as possible, and shall not be closed for no reason to stop external services.
In addition, around the National Convention Center, Shougang Park and other points, the traffic law enforcement department carried out rectification actions in advance, and carried out law enforcement inspections on key industries such as rail stations, bus stations, rental online appointments, and "two passengers and one danger" around the venue.
The transportation department will also release public transportation service guarantee information in a timely manner on multiple rounds and platforms, pay attention to platforms such as AutoNavi Baidu at any time, dynamically release urban traffic operation and travel tips, and advocate citizens to travel off-peak, green and public transportation.
