The Hongqi HS3 PHEV will be officially launched on September 21. Previously, the car was unveiled at the Chengdu Motor Show. The Hongqi HS3 PHEV is positioned as a compact SUV, and the design of the gasoline version is highly continued in both the exterior and interior. In addition, the new car is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5-liter engine and an electric motor, and is equipped with CATL's lithium iron phosphate battery, with a pure electric range of 115 kilometers and a comprehensive range of more than 1,100 kilometers.
In terms of appearance, the Hongqi HS3 PHEV continues the shape of the fuel version, adopts the front face of the family-style alpine waterfall, and has eight vertical chrome trim strips and black trim plates distributed in the dot matrix, with a split narrow long light cluster and the iconic through-type LOGO in the middle, which is very recognizable and highlights the identity of the luxury brand.
The sleek lines of the new car and the black paint on the A/B/C pillars create a floating roof effect, adding a stylish touch to the vehicle. At the rear of the car, the taillights adopt a split + through-type layout, with a large-size spoiler, to create a strong sense of visual hierarchy. At the same time, the thick lower surround with the two-outlet exhaust design on both sides enhances the car's sporty feeling. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4655/1900/1668mm, and the wheelbase is 2770mm.
In terms of cockpit, the new car adopts a 12.3-inch LCD instrument and a 12.6-inch vertical central control screen, creating a good scientific and technological atmosphere. In addition, the new car also has 40W+15W dual-sided wireless mobile phone charging, automatic parking, 360° panoramic image, Dynaudio audio, keyless entry and other rich configurations, which improve the comfort and convenience of drivers and passengers.
In terms of power, it is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5-liter engine and an electric motor, with a maximum engine power of 124 kW, and is equipped with CATL's 18.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, with a pure electric range of 115 km and a comprehensive range of more than 1,100 km. At the same time, the new car also has a 3.3kW external discharge function and a 2.8kW charging capacity.
