With the launch of the 2025 Land Rover Discovery, we have acquired a set of actual models. The guide price range for this year's facelifted model is 658,800 yuan to 798,800 yuan, and a new 35th anniversary model has been added. It is reported that the new car has been upgraded with an e+ entertainment interconnection system.
As a mid-to-large SUV, the car's exterior hasn't changed much, still with a clamshell bonnet design and a matrix full LED headlight cluster. The body colours are available in eight options, including Fuji White, Santorini Black, Eiger Grey, Lantau Bronze Brown, Varese Blue, Carpathian Grey, Silicon Valley Silver, and Charente Grey. In addition, the 35th Anniversary Edition model features a British-inspired green bodywork and 22-inch five-spoke black alloy rims. The body will also feature a unique 35th anniversary logo and will be equipped with a number of comfort features.
In terms of body size, the 2025 Land Rover Discovery is 4956/2073/1888 mm in length, width and height, respectively, while the wheelbase is 2923 mm. The vehicle waded to a depth of 900 mm. At the rear, the large rear wing is retained, and the license plate frame is located on the left-hand side of the center.
Inside, the 2025 Land Rover Discovery gets an upgraded InControl OS 2.0 infotainment system, a Meridian premium audio system, electrically adjustable third-row seats, and an optional on-board refrigerator and OEC.
In terms of seat layout, the 2025 Land Rover Discovery continues to adopt a 2+3+2 seven-seat layout, with the main driver's seat memory function as standard, and the second-row seats support forward and backward movement and backrest angle adjustment. The second- and third-row seats are heated on the high-spec models. The boot space of the car is 258 litres, which can be expanded to 2,391 litres when the rear two rows of seats are folded down.
In terms of powertrain, the 2025 Land Rover Discovery entry-level model is equipped with a 3.0T engine + 48-volt mild hybrid system, with a maximum power of 265 kW and a maximum torque of 500 Nm·m. The transmission system of the car is matched with an 8-speed automatic manual transmission and four-wheel drive system, and has 9+1 off-road and driving modes.
In the domestic luxury mid-to-large SUV market, models with similar prices to Land Rover Discovery include Mercedes-Benz GLE, Audi Q7 and BMW Brilliance X5. In comparison, BMW Brilliance X5 is the first to produce a longer wheelbase, and Mercedes-Benz GLE is also about to be produced locally.
