Title: Large-angle high-definition naked-eye 3D light field display
Report Summary: The large-angle, high-definition, large-size naked-eye true 3D light field display provides viewers with a true 3D viewing experience closest to the real scene, which is in line with people's real feelings of watching the world, satisfies the deep cues of physiology and psychology, obtains more complete physiological and psychological 3D perception information, and achieves more intuitive and comprehensive cognition. To achieve large-angle and high-definition glasses-free 3D light field display, it is necessary to break through the limitations of the freedom and accuracy of light control devices, and take into account the spatial bandwidth product of display devices. The report introduces some explorations of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in large-angle high-definition naked-eye 3D light field display. It realizes 65-inch 3D light field display with a viewing angle of more than 110 degrees, with the correct spatial geometric position occlusion relationship; Realized the glasses-free 3D light field display with a large viewing angle of 54 inches and 162 inches based on LEDs. The free-space 3D light field distribution was constructed, and the dynamic naked-eye 3D light field display of various forms of air imaging was realized. A compact light field communication system for real-time light field acquisition, remote transmission, dense viewpoint generation and display was established, and a remote 3D light field communication with a transmission distance of more than 21 km that could be watched by multiple people at the same time was realized.
