A letter to parents about traffic safety
Dear Parents of Students,
Hello!
The travel safety of students has always been a general concern of families, schools and society. Traffic safety is related to the life of children and the happiness of every family, and traffic accidents have brought endless pain and irreparable losses to many families! In order to keep students and parents away from traffic accidents and every family to be safe, healthy and happy, we hope that parents will keep the following in mind:
1. Teach by word and deed, and strictly abide by traffic laws. Do "stop at the red light, go at the green light, and don't rush when the yellow light is on"; Do walk on the sidewalk, and if there is no sidewalk, walk on the right side of the road; Cross the highway and take the zebra crossing, if there is no zebra crossing, you should do "one stop, two looks, three passes", and do not suddenly cross the road when the vehicle is approaching; It is strictly forbidden to fight, play or chase on the highway.
2. Lead by example and play the role of "big hands and small hands". Parents consciously take the lead in abiding by traffic laws, actively maintain traffic order, be a good example and good example of strictly abiding by traffic laws, start from themselves, do not drink and drive, do not overload and speed, ride motorcycles, electric vehicles wear safety helmets, and actively play the role of "big hands holding small hands", and guide their children to develop good traffic habits with their own words and deeds.
3. Teach children to walk safely. Pay attention to the movement of vehicles, do not chase or block moving vehicles on the road, and do not pickpocket; Do not throw objects at moving vehicles; Do not suddenly cross or reverse or turn back halfway when the vehicle is approaching, so as to slow down, look twice, and pass three times.
Fourth, ride correctly and resolutely adhere to the bottom line of the age of students' riding vehicles. Resolutely do not allow students of unsuitable age to drive on the road, and they must be at least 12 years old to ride a bicycle; You must be at least 16 years old to drive an e-bike. When school-age students ride, do not rush, do not chase, do not go against the road, do not hold objects, do not support their bodies, etc. Vehicles should be overhauled regularly to avoid traffic accidents caused by brake failure.
5. Take good care of your vehicle. Students who do not have a motor vehicle driver's license are prohibited from driving motorcycles, oversized electric vehicles, automobiles and other vehicles.
6. Remind children to ride safely. Resolutely resist taking "black school buses", assembled cars, scrapped cars, unlicensed and unlicensed vehicles, and tricycles. Do not ride in vehicles without operating qualifications or vehicles without licenses, incomplete procedures, or insurance; Do not take overcrowded vehicles and illegal manned vehicles such as trucks, battery cars, tricycles, tractors, and agricultural vehicles; When riding in the car, sit on the safety seat or fasten the seat belt, do not lean out of the car, do not put your head and hands out of the sunroof, and do not throw objects outside the car; When riding a vehicle, always get on and off the right side door of the vehicle, and do not suddenly cross the road when you get out of the vehicle.
7. Pick up and drop off students in a safe, standardized and orderly manner. Parents should not park their vehicles at the school gate or enter the campus to avoid causing traffic jams or causing traffic accidents; When parents drive motorcycles to pick up and drop off students, they can only carry children over the age of 12, and the drivers and passengers must wear safety helmets when riding motorcycles, so that the road to and from school is more secure; Keep in mind that the safety of "one helmet and one belt" is always there, and do a good job of self-protection.
8. Tell your child to stay away from the blind spot of the vehicle. The "fixed" blind spot in the car includes the blind spot at the front of the car, the blind spot formed on the right side of the body, and the blind spot at the rear of the car. When a child squats down and stays and plays in the blind spot, the driver cannot see it in the cab, and it is easy to have a collision accident.
Dear parents and students, obeying traffic laws and regulations means respecting life, cherishing ourselves, and cherishing and protecting a happy life by ourselves! I wish all families a safe and happy entry and exit, and students to make progress in their studies!
