I heard Xiaomei say that in the ancient city of Yache County, there is an Internet celebrity check-in point old teahouse, which is worth visiting. I followed the guidance of Baidu map navigation, turned east and west, walked through the streets and alleys, and finally found it.
The room was small, with a large stove burning large chunks of wood in it, and a few kettles with lids were close to it.
Most of the tea customers who come here to drink tea are regular customers, and the Uyghur bosses are only busy adding firewood, adding water, making tea, and washing dishes, and they don't need to greet anyone who comes at all.
After a long period of smoke and fire, the walls and roof of the teahouse were pitch black, and some people carved their names on the walls.
I looked around and noticed that most of the people who came here to drink tea were Uighurs from the neighborhood, and most of them were elderly. They habitually find an empty seat to sit down, and the host will soon bring a pot of hot tea.
According to a Uyghur tea customer, the teahouse has been in business for nearly 40 years, and it has been eight or nine years since it moved to a new location in another part of the ancient city. No matter where it is, the boss hasn't changed, the price hasn't changed, a pot of hot tea is a dollar, and the water is refilled at will; A piece of naan is a dollar, choose by yourself; A hard-boiled egg costs a dollar, no matter how big or small. Eat more and eat less, it's all up to you, the boss doesn't care, you don't look at it, just use WeChat payment for tea customers!
In the corner, there is an old color TV, which plays martial arts movies in Uyghur through a disc player, and although the image is blurry and the sound is not clear, the tea drinkers are still watching with great interest.
There are also some curious people like me, who come to ask for a pot of tea, drink it quietly, look carefully, and check the atmosphere and real feeling in the old teahouse.
The local Uyghurs like to ask for a pot of tea, brew a piece of naan, and add a hard-boiled egg, even to eat and drink, both to quench their thirst and satisfy hunger.
I drank a pot of tea here, watched while drinking, watched and photographed, stayed for almost half an hour, paid a dollar, WeChat payment showed that the payee was "it doesn't matter", followed by his Uyghur name, I think this will be related to the boss's business philosophy?
Leaving the teahouse, I turned around and looked at the "New Unity Tea Shop" signboard on the door, thinking about the facilities and tea customers inside, and I always felt that it didn't match the old teahouse.
On the afternoon of September 17, 2024, it was photographed in the ancient city scenic area of Yache County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang
