One. Weizhong acupoint relaxes muscles and activates the nerves
Let's talk about this acupoint first. In the "Song of the Four General Acupoints", there is "Seeking from the Low Back Committee", which clearly points out that the Weizhong acupoint has an important therapeutic effect on low back pain. It is also mentioned in the ancient book "Lingshu and Evil Qi Viscera Disease" that "people with bladder disease, the lower abdomen is swollen and painful, and if you press it with your hand, you can't urinate, and your shoulders are hot, if the pulse is trapped, and the little toe of the foot and the back of the shin and ankle are hot, if the pulse is trapped, the central government will be taken from the central committee." It can be seen that the Weizhong acupoint was widely used in ancient times to treat bladder meridian-related diseases.
So where is the acupoint? It's right behind our knees at the midpoint of the popliteal striation. When you're looking for it, it's easier to see when your legs are bent.
Once you find it, press and hold it with your thumb, push it a little harder, feel a little sore, you can press it up and down or move it left and right to increase the stimulation effect. Each massage lasts three to five minutes, two or three times a day, and after sitting or standing for a long time, the massage can quickly relieve leg fatigue and pain.
2. Life Gate Acupoint Strengthen the waist and relieve pain
Next, let's talk about the life-gate point, which is located in the depression below the spinous process of the second lumbar vertebra, which is what we usually call the "lumbar eye". As the name suggests, the life-gate acupoint is the gateway of life, which is closely related to our kidneys, and has the effect of warming the kidneys and helping yang, strengthening the waist and improving water. When massaging the Mingmen acupoint, you can rub it with the palm of your hand, rub the palm of your hand hot, stick it on the Mingmen acupoint, and then rub it clockwise and counterclockwise alternately, each time you rub for three to five minutes, two or three times a day, stick to it, and you will find that the discomfort in your waist is gradually reduced.
Three. Chengshan Cave regulates qi and relieves pain
Finally, let's talk about the Chengshan cave, which is recorded in the ancient book "Acupuncture and Moxibustion A and B Sutra": "Cold and heat usurped out, and the mountain is the master." Chengshan is in the middle of the back of our calf, and when the calf is straightened or the heel is raised, the sharp angle depression that appears under the abdomen of the gastrocnemius muscle. This acupuncture point has the effect of regulating qi and relieving pain, relaxing tendons and activating the nerves, removing cold and dampness, regulating qi and blood, when massaging the Chengshan acupoint, you can use your fingers or massage rod to click, the strength is moderate, each time is also three to five minutes, two or three times a day.
