Today, Meizu officially announced the new product series brand "Star", bringing StarV smart glasses and STARAUTO smart cars, two different business modules under the Star brand, and launched a number of new products such as AR smart glasses StarV View, StarV Air2, smart ring StarV Ring2, and the Z10 STARBUFF e-sports customized model jointly created by Meizu and Lynk & Co. With the launch of this new product series brand, Meizu will form an ecological layout in which the two major product series brands of Star and Meizu are parallel, as well as the three product categories of smart phones, smart glasses and smart cars.
Among them, StarV View is an AR smart glasses that adopts Birdbath's technology route, which solves the pain points of the Birdbath glasses industry in terms of visual presentation: screen blur and eye motion blur. In order to meet the needs of users in noisy environments, StarV View relies on dual microphones and self-developed echo cancellation algorithms to increase the call noise reduction function.
At the same time, StarV View can not only be connected with the Lynk & Co Z10, so that the small screen can become a large screen in seconds, but also can be linked with a variety of models under the Zeekr Automobile and Geely Automobile brands. StarV View can also be used as a second screen for drone monitors, mobile phones, PCs, and gaming consoles, and supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 700 nits peak brightness.
The StarV Air2 is an AI+AR smart glasses that uses an optical waveguide display solution. Weighing only 44g, the StarV Air2 is available in two colours: Light Brown and Dune Yellow.
It adopts a total of four interaction modes, voice AI interaction, mobile APP touchpad interaction, StarV Ring2 smart ring control interaction, and power button, scroll wheel physical button interaction. Among them, the scroll wheel button can be scrolled back and forth to select, or it can be pressed to confirm, which reduces misoperation.
The StarV Ring2 smart ring is equipped with a hyperglycemia risk monitoring function, which compares the collected spectral data with health big data through hardware photoelectric sensing technology, so as to obtain the blood glucose change trend value. At the same time, StarV Ring2 also supports health functions such as blood oxygen monitoring, sleep analysis, stress monitoring, body temperature fluctuation monitoring, health management, and exercise monitoring. With 5ATM IP68 waterproof performance, it can fully meet the needs of users for all-weather and multi-scene wearing.
In terms of cross-terminal interconnection capabilities, StarV Ring2 intelligent touch interaction realizes the interconnection of multi-terminal device control, users can easily use the ring to control StarV Air2 glasses and mobile phones, and realize functions such as taking photos with one click, sliding to switch mobile phone screens, and easily swiping short videos.
The Z10 STARBUFF, a customized version of e-sports jointly created by Meizu and Lynk & Co based on Z10, was also officially launched today. It should be noted that STARBUFF superimposes the world's first Flyme Auto high-energy gaming entertainment cockpit on the Lynk & Co Z10 standard model, which can play triple-A stand-alone games and PC games. Flyme Auto is also adapted to the Windows system to match the needs of China's game ecosystem and players.
