ZTE held a low-altitude economic industry development forum to help the industry develop by leaps and bounds

On September 25, the first day of the China International Information and Communication Exhibition, the low-altitude economic and industrial development forum hosted by ZTE was held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. The forum brought together all parties in the low-altitude economic industry chain to share industrial development insights, technological innovation and practical experience, gather industry strength, and help the low-altitude economy take off.

Wang Xiang, senior vice president and chief strategy officer of ZTE, said in his speech that with the full readiness of policies, markets, technologies and other factors, the low-altitude economy has ushered in explosive growth. "Ninety thousand miles of wind is lifting, the wind is resting, and the boat is blowing to take the three mountains", in order to realize the cohesion and take-off of the low-altitude economy, we need to achieve "four mays": first, the scene is available, through in-depth excavation and expansion of low-altitude application scenarios, to promote the scale and universalization of the business; Second, technology can be reached, continuous R&D and innovation, constantly break through technical bottlenecks, reduce costs, and improve efficiency; Third, it is commercially feasible to build a reasonable business model, form a long-term sustainable business closed loop, and ensure the healthy development of the low-altitude economy; Fourth, it is safe and controllable, establish and improve the safety guarantee system, ensure the safe conduct of low-altitude activities, and provide a solid backing for the low-altitude economy. In view of these four points, ZTE is willing to work with industry partners to jointly explore new opportunities in the low-altitude economy and write a new chapter in the low-altitude economy.

Bi Qi, chief scientist of China Telecom, believes that 5G is developing smoothly in terms of eMBB users, but the increase in monthly traffic is gradually slowing down. The arrival of low-altitude economy and high-traffic demand is conducive to the development of the second half of 5G. For the development of low-altitude, logistics is one of the most important directions, and in order to form a scale, the cost of communication is expected to need to fall by an order of magnitude. In order to meet the low-cost demand of logistics, China Telecom plans to use the deployed 5G network in the 2.1G and 3.5G frequency bands to provide low-altitude coverage through reuse. For UAV perception, China Telecom plans to solve the detection problem of UAV with high precision through millimeter wave system in an integrated way.

Liu Guangyi, chief expert of China Mobile, said that the low-altitude economy has become an important direction of the government's layout and is developing rapidly, low-altitude intelligent connected UAVs have created a new scene for the integration of communication, perception and computing, and also put forward extremely high requirements for the weight, size, cost, and energy consumption of UAVs.

Xi Xuya, senior researcher of low-altitude application at the Pan-terminal Center of China Unicom Research Institute, pointed out in his speech that the low-altitude intelligent connection system with "low-altitude communication network, low-altitude navigation network, low-altitude perception network, low-altitude computing power network and low-altitude meteorological network" as the core is the digital infrastructure foundation necessary for the development of low-altitude economy. The core of China Unicom's integrated intelligent network system is the five-in-one in-depth collaboration of "device, network, cloud, security, data and intelligence", with the aim of systematically promoting the full penetration of the industry and the scale of application, and laying a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the low-altitude economy.

Liu Shuang, deputy general manager of ZTE's RAN products, said that ZTE relies on 5G-A synaesthesia computing and intelligence integration technology to build a low-altitude intelligent network. Through innovative solutions such as the super open-angle spontaneous self-receiving synaesthesia base station, the user-centered distributed super-large array D3-ELAA, and the accurate recognition of perception targets based on AI intelligent computing, the low-altitude aircraft are pan-"connected" and easy to "manage", and a digital "skyway" is built for the high-quality development of the low-altitude economy.

Beijing Jiaotong University professor and doctoral supervisor Guanke believes that there is a strong demand for UAV network communication in the fields of low-altitude logistics, urban inspection, security monitoring, etc., which is mainly reflected in data transmission, image transmission and flight control. In the case of meeting business needs, priority should be given to reusing the ground network, building new low-altitude networks as needed, and covering satellite networks in a wide area. In addition, Professor Guan hopes to build a world-leading accurate, efficient and visual digital twin platform for the electromagnetic environment based on independent and controllable high-performance ray tracing technology, support the high-quality development of high-quality tracks such as low-altitude economy and new infrastructure, and promote the digital transformation of the economy and society.

At the forum, Chen Sicong, the founder of Ruihe Xuanwu, shared the innovation and achievements of low-altitude data collection, emphasized the significance of all-element data collection, and introduced intelligent surveying and mapping and real-time technology. In particular, the value of the "Zhilong No. 1" flood warning vehicle and automatic hangar combined with 5G-A technology in inspection and cultural tourism data collection was demonstrated, bringing a breakthrough to the low-altitude economy.

The forum not only discussed the challenges and opportunities faced by the low-altitude economy, but also looked forward to the broad prospects of technological innovation and application. The close cooperation of all parties will inject strong impetus into this emerging industry, promote the construction of a more open, integrated and innovative low-altitude economic ecology, help achieve leapfrog development, and add strong momentum to the high-quality development of China's economy.
