The whole route of the C-Chacha line is recommended in detail

There are a lot of routes to Tibet by car, there are seven routes into Tibet, Bingchacha, which is also considered to be the most dangerous and exciting route among the seven routes into Tibet, so the following small series recommends the full route of the Bingchacha line for everyone, let's take a look!

Self-drive routes

Bingchacha: Bingzhongluo (Yunnan) - Chavalong (Tibet) - Chayu (Tibet), the whole journey is 305 kilometers.

Bingzhongluo

To get to Bingzhongluo, the starting point of the Bingchacha line, you can start from Lushui and arrive along G219; It is also possible to depart from Deqin and arrive along the Dragone Line. Our route is the former, next time we can try the Dragone line. It is said that the Dragone Highway passes through the core area of the three parallel rivers and covers half of the beautiful scenery of Yunnan, but the road condition is not good. Although the praise on the Internet is generally greatly discounted, curiosity drives us to find time to check it out.

If you go to Bingzhongluo along G219, when you see the first bend of the Nu River, Bingzhongluo is close, and there are only 4 kilometers left.

Moving on, when I saw this peninsula surrounded by water on three sides, I was stunned for a moment, why did I make another "first bend"?" Face blind", I also seem to have "landscape blindness", the horseshoe bend looks similar, and even this seems to be more like the real first bend of the Nu River.

However, its name is Peach Blossom Island, which is named after the peach blossoms that bloom in spring. However, the peach blossoms bloom from early March to early April every year, and we who arrived here in late April not only happened to miss the peach blossoms, but also missed the greenest season of the river (Spring Festival to early April every year).

"The place where man and god live together", this romantic title adds a bit of mystery to Bingzhongluo.

But in fact, Bingzhongluo does not have the kind of imaginary romance, the reason why it is called "people and gods live together" is because there is not only the Puhua Temple of the Kagyu School of Tibetan Buddhism, but also a Catholic church built by the France a hundred years ago.

I saw the Christian church in Laomudeng Village before, and I didn't feel strange that there was a Catholic church in Bingzhongluo, but I was surprised by the new look of Bingzhongluo. Not only are the roads newly built, but even the green belts on the side of the roads are carefully built, which is not at all the random appearance of a small town in the mountains. And all this is actually an extension of the "Nujiang Beautiful Highway" project in Yunnan.

If you stay in a B&B in Bingzhongluo, you can see the amazing changes in Bingzhongluo.

Large floor-to-ceiling glass windows, bright windows with green hills. Such a homestay that understands the preferences of tourists, the owner Tashi is an authentic Tibetan guy, and his wife is Nu.

Early in the morning, guests staying at the B&B sit in Tashi's kitchen, eating breakfast while listening to Tashi tell his story. Tashi lost both parents at the age of 11 and has been doing various jobs to support himself ever since. Farming, grazing, and later going out to work, driving a truck... Until I finally came back and opened a B&B.

Tashi talks about the hardships of his childhood and the poverty of Bingzhongluo, but there is no unhappiness in his narration.

"We Tibetans all believe in the afterlife, and this life is here to suffer, so it doesn't matter." The corners of his mouth even had a faint smile.

But in reality, the happiness of the Tashis, with the construction of the road, no longer has to wait for the afterlife.

Chavaron

At the beginning of the Bingchacha line, starting from Bingzhongluo to Chavalong, the beautiful highway continues to be beautiful.

Even the narrowest part of the Nujiang Gorge, Shimen Pass, even if the cliffs on both sides of the river are sandwiched, because there is a good road to pass through, there is no longer a sense of precipitousness.

Is it true that the road is already so good? I muttered to myself. However, this is just my misunderstanding of C. Chacha. It's just the beginning, so it's too early to draw conclusions.

After passing Shimen Pass, continue for about 4 kilometers and you will see Wuli Village on the opposite side of the Nu River.

You can enter the village by taking the two suspension bridges in the north and south. The south entrance is the new bridge, a pure steel bridge; The north entrance is an abandoned old bridge, but a new suspension bridge has been built next to it.

Choose the suspension bridge at the north entrance, and after crossing the river from here, you can enter the village by taking a section of the channel cut out of the cliff wall, and this channel is the former Ancient Tea Horse Road.

Walking on the Ancient Tea Horse Road, which is about one meter wide, and then looking at the G219 with cars on the other side of the river, it seems to have crossed in an instant.

This ancient plank road takes about 1.5 kilometers to reach Wuli Village.

Wuli Village, the village is as its name suggests, and the village is more beautiful when you see the village in the fog. It's good to enjoy it across the river, and you don't need to walk in.

The Yunnan-Tibet realm is full of rituals, not only the huge "Yunnan" and "Tibet" are written on the mountain walls, but also "Bingchacha" is written on the ground. Although it is only when you look closely that you know that it is an advertisement, I have to say that this advertisement really chooses a place.

There is no one who drives through this place without checking in here. I'm no exception. And this is my fifth time in Tibet.

When it reaches the Yunnan-Tibet border, it means the end of the Yunnan section of "Bingchacha" and the beginning of the Tibet section; But at the same time, it also means the end of the asphalt road, the beginning of the bumpy road.

The silky asphalt roads in Yunnan were quickly switched to bumpy semi-paved roads. As soon as the car passed, the dust was everywhere, as if returning to the no-man's land of Ali 3 years ago.
