Before you know it, more than a year has passed since the official release of the Apple Vision Pro.
During this period, we experienced the sales from the United States to the country, as well as some specific product evaluation content.
As a rare new category launched by Apple in recent years, this product did attract considerable attention at the beginning of its release.
However, as the heat gradually fades, when the attention returns to the consumer market, the many dilemmas faced by Vision Pro at this stage have also become new topics.
One of the relatively intuitive is the price.
In any case, a device of about 30,000 yuan, even if it is placed in the headset product market, is very expensive, and it is bound to dissuade many ordinary users.
At present, the sub-headset products that have been rumored for a long time are likely to be a "killer move" prepared by Apple for the sinking consumer market.

Recently, there has been the latest revelation about the "Apple Vision SE".
According to DigiTimes, industry insiders have reported that Apple is working on more "economical" display solutions for secondary headsets.
Currently, Apple has received samples of OLED panels from Japan Display (JDI) with a pixel density of about 1500 PPI per inch.
Compared to the Vision Pro's 3391 PPI, the resolution of the secondary panel is half as high.
It is widely believed in the industry that by reducing the pixel density of the screen, Apple can use it to significantly reduce the manufacturing cost of headsets.
At the same time, even the pixel density of 1500 PPI is the highest display performance in the industry, and it can still bring users a high-quality visual experience.
Similar news was corroborated by a report published by The Elec in the middle of this month.
In addition to JDI, Apple has also submitted panel applications to display companies such as Samsung and LG to produce OLED displays with a pixel density of 1700 PPI.

This could mean that Apple will bring multiple gear choices for the secondary product, with display quality as a differentiator.
It is worth mentioning that the samples provided by JDI are purportedly based on GCS (glass core substrate) OLED technology, which helps to further reduce costs.
It is widely believed that Apple's secondary headset is expected to be finalized in October this year, and it will be unveiled as soon as next year.
It is expected that the price of the secondary headset will come to 1,500 US dollars, which is about 10,000 yuan.
Although the price is still not cheap, it is relatively close to the edge of the consumer market.
In addition, Apple's design optimization plan for the Vision Pro product itself may also be on the agenda.

According to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, the next generation of Vision Pro is expected to be launched by the end of 2026.
With the accumulated market feedback and experience, I believe that Apple will gradually solve the problems exposed in the original Vision Pro products, and launch iterative products that are more attractive to users.
For now, Apple has high hopes for the Apple Vision series.
As for whether the advent of secondary products can further advance Apple's vision of the era of spatial computing, it is still waiting for further news in the future.
