Mr. Ma Ke, the first vice president of the China Conservatory of Music and a famous composer, is the chief composer of "The White-Haired Girl" and "Little Erhei Marriage", laying the foundation for the creation of national operas, and a road of passing on the torch has begun. Throughout the performance, the classic singing segments in the national operas of "The White-Haired Girl", "Little Erhei Marriage", "Honghu Red Guards", "Sister Jiang" and "The Party's Daughter" were staged in turn. With their superb acting skills and moving singing voices, combined with well-designed stage effects, the actors led the audience to relive the magnificent history of the revolutionary period, and vividly reproduced the touching historical scrolls.
In May this year, nearly 120 students from the China Conservatory of Music participated in the successful premiere of "A Collection of Chinese Classic National Operas" (Teaching Version) and went to the whole country, winning wide acclaim. This time, the China Conservatory of Music launched a school celebration version, inviting Lei Jia, Wu Bixia, Wang Qingshuang, Wang Li, Gao Peng, Chang Tong, Huang Xunguo, Huang Huali, Wang Hexiang, Wang Jing and other opera performance artists to perform together and reproduce the classics. At the same time, nearly 100 students participated in the play as role actors, extras and choirs, adding youthful colors to the stage and gaining valuable practical experience. Teachers and students performed on the same stage and alumni performed together, injecting new vitality into the future development of Chinese national opera in the process of inheriting teachers from generation to generation.
"A Collection of Chinese Classic National Operas" (School Celebration Edition) shows the great sacrifices and unremitting struggles of the revolutionary martyrs for the country and national independence through the dialogue between the "characters" and the "times" in the play. Each scene is an affectionate look back at the heroic epic, and every line of the song is engraved with their dedication to faith and the heroism of sacrifice. Director Chen Wei laid the emotional climax at the end of the whole play - teachers and students on and off the stage sang "Azalea" together, presenting the resonant voice of Guoyin students in the new era of affectionate confession to the party and the motherland. The staging of this play is an important measure for the China Conservatory of Music to implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people, adhere to the people-centered creative orientation, and also adhere to the practice and exploration of using red genes to cast souls and educate people, and promote the high-quality development of the construction of ideological and political courses in art colleges and universities.
