Iran missiles frighten Israel? The truth may not be that simple
Midnight Horror: "Fireworks Show" in the Sky
Late at night on April 1, 2024, which was supposed to be an April Fool's Day, the people of Israel experienced a real night of horror. Iran fired hundreds of missiles and drones aimed at Israel itself. Instead of festive fireworks, the sky streaked with deadly weapons.
The sudden attack caught people off guard. Israel's air defense system was urgently activated, and country M also helped. While most of the missiles were intercepted, a few still hit the target. For a time, sirens sounded one after another, and anti-aircraft ballistics pierced the night sky, like a thrilling "fireworks show".
The grievances and hatreds behind the missile turmoil
When it comes to the cause of this attack, we have to start from the beginning. You know, Israel and Iran, the two "wrongdoers" in the Middle East, have a long-standing grudge. Not long ago, Israel blew up and killed a senior Iranian general in Syria and killed the big boss of Lebanon's Allah party. This can provoke Iran, and it has been clamoring for revenge.
Coupled with the increasing intensity of Israel's military operations in Gaza and Lebanon, Iran, as the big brother of the so-called "axis of resistance", will be laughed at by the younger brothers if it does not make a move. And so the missile attack began.
Iran claims to have launched about 400 missiles, which is really a bloody investment! But Israel said only more than 180 flew over, and most of them were intercepted. That's too much difference, isn't it? But then again, even if there are only a few dozen missiles, it is scary enough for ordinary people.
Reaction: A good show or a disaster?
In the aftermath of the attack, the response was remarkable. Israel says that the damage is limited, but it must be holding back a lot of energy in its heart. They threaten to take revenge at the "right time", which sends chills down the spine. Iran was quite nervous, calling it "legitimate defense" and warning Israel not to think about fighting back. Tsk, that's like a child fighting.
Of course, the "world policeman" of country M cannot be idle, and immediately jumped out to condemn Iran and said that it would support Israel. Russia did not think it was a big deal to see the excitement, and seized the opportunity to begin to count the failures of country M's policy in the Middle East. Why does this drama look so familiar?
Interestingly, some media reported that Iran had actually notified country M of the attack in advance. This can't help but make people wonder, is this "big drama" a bit of acting in it? After all, if you really want to fight, no one can afford the consequences, right?
The way forward: The Verge or the Bluff?
The question now is, will this conflict escalate into a full-scale war? Israel certainly won't just leave it at that, but how will they retaliate? Bombing Iran directly? Or is it a little bit of a trick in the dark? Will Congress M be directly involved? And how will Russia intervene? These are all head-scratching questions.
Some experts analyzed that Iran's attack was actually "slapping Israel's air defense system in the face." Although most of the missiles were intercepted, there were still fish that slipped through the net. This shows that the "Iron Dome" system, which Israel is proud of, is not foolproof.
But then again, did Iran's attack really hit Israel hard? It doesn't seem to be. So, what is the real purpose of this operation? Is it to establish a tough image in the country? Or do you want to flex your muscles on the international stage?
Regional Situation: A Bigger Game of Chess
In fact, this conflict is much more than just two countries, Iran and Israel. The situation in the entire Middle East could change as a result. Neighboring countries must be worried that the war will spread to their doorsteps.
Look at what it was like five years ago. In 2019, Saudi oil facilities were attacked, and there was also a lot of uproar at the time. Although it did not turn into a large-scale conflict, it did change the balance of power in the region.
The situation may be more complicated now than it was five years ago. Relations between countries are complex, and carelessness can trigger a ripple effect. It's like a big game of chess, and every move has to be thought through.
Personal opinion: Is there a lot of drama or is it real?
To be honest, watching these countries come and go, it's a bit like watching a play. Iran's attack seems to be huge, but the actual effect seems to be just that. Israel is clamoring for retaliation, but it is unclear what exactly it will do.
As an ordinary person, I think the leaders of these countries should sit down and talk about it, and not engage in all this bells and whistles all day long. Aren't the people who suffer in the end?
But then again, this incident does make people realize that peace really did not come easily. It is hoped that the leaders of various countries will think more about the people and do less dangerous tricks. After all, no one wants to actually see a war break out, right?
