These pictures freeze the "firsts" of New China

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the "Mirror of the National Society· Century Light and Shadow" photojournalism exhibition sponsored by Xinhua News Agency is being held in the National Financial Information Building in Beijing.

Walking into the exhibition hall, the floodgates of time slowly opened. Among the nearly 500 photos, each precious picture and historical moment record the glorious footprints of New China forging ahead in poverty and whiteness and moving forward in the torrent of the times, and freeze the frame of "New China's first", outlining the vicissitudes of life in the land of China in the past 75 years.
