"You can see the mountains, you can see the water, and you can remember the nostalgia." A village carries the history, culture and nostalgia of a village, condenses the past of the village, and shows the present and the future. This year, our province launched the theme propaganda and education activity of "Nostalgia Imprint - Collection of Village History and Village Affairs in Guizhou", aiming to record and display rural culture and development achievements. From September 28th, the WeChat public account of the thousand-year-old ancient town of Weng'an County Rong Media Center has opened a column of "Our Village's Affairs", taking the village history and village affairs as the context to take you to pursue those dusty historical memories for a long time.
Hongyan Village, Yonghe Town, located in the east of Weng'an County, was merged from the original Laofenzui Village, Caijiawan Village and Heba Village, with 8 villager groups and 25 natural villages, with 937 households and 3,626 villagers. During the Red Army's Long March, it had a wide variety of natural vegetation, with a forest coverage rate of more than 65%, a beautiful ecological environment, and abundant natural fresh water and geothermal resources.
Hongyan Village originally belonged to Laofenzui Township, and was named after a natural red boulder that stood for a hundred years in the Heba Formation (formerly Hongyan Formation). The Red Army's Long March "Four Passes Through Weng'an" once passed through Hongyan Village. On December 28, 1934, the first and third front armies of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army (Central Red Army) set out from Jiuzhou, Huangping County, and attacked Weng'an in two ways, one of which took the Red Third Army Corps, the Fourth Division and the Tenth Regiment as the avant-garde, entered Caijiawan in Weng'an County through Songdong, passed through the old tomb, Mukong, Shenxigou, ash kiln, Duodingguan, Majiazhai, and arrived at Ximatang and Huangnitai, and at dawn on the 29th, captured Weng'an County, and the second road took the Red First Army and the Second Division and the Fourth Regiment as the avant-garde, passing through Laofenzui, Rubbing Rock, various dams, Chenjiazhai, Jinzhuzhuang, On the 29th, the Monkey Field was occupied, and on the afternoon of December 31, the Central Organs and the Red Army Headquarters were stationed at the Monkey Field. After many investigations, there is a Red Army tomb in the Hongyan Group of Hongyan Village, a total of three Red Army, three anonymous Red Army soldiers died of injuries when passing through the old tomb, the local people will be buried in the old tomb of the Red Army behind the warehouse, in the 70s moved to the vicinity of the original old tomb mouth township government, in the 80s due to the expansion of the old tomb mouth township government, the Red Army tomb was moved to the current Hongyan Formation Ximatan Song Zhongyi house behind the burial, in 2021, after a meeting was held to report to the county-level department agreed to repair the tomb.
In recent years, the "two committees" of the village branch of Hongyan Village, the village-based work team and all the villagers have rooted the profound historical and cultural accumulation and red cultural resources of Hongyan Village in their blood, stimulated the enthusiasm of party members and cadres to be pioneers and set an example, and gathered a strong force for cadres and masses to seek common development.
Under the spring breeze of east-west cooperation, Haizhu District of Guangzhou City has been pairing to help Hongyan Village since 2017, and Fenghe Economic Union has provided more than 1.2 million yuan of pairing assistance funds to Hongyan Village to support the development of Hongyan Village to build "Fenghe Hot Spring", bringing more than 70,000 yuan of income to the village collective economy every year. There are a number of farmhouses, supermarkets, restaurants and more in the village, which offer local specialties. Through government matchmaking and social mobilization, Haizhu District has helped Hongyan Village to make use of the hot spring industry as the mainstay, innovate and develop diversified ecological rural tourism with the "hot spring + N" model, and open up the sales channels of agricultural products for surrounding farmers.
Over time, the village has gradually developed other industries to diversify and sustain its economy. In the process of industrial development, Hongyan Village pays attention to playing a demonstration and leading role, guiding the masses to actively participate in the development of characteristic industries, actively promoting industrial integration, combining agriculture and tourism, developing eco-tourism, further enhancing industrial added value and economic benefits, providing more employment opportunities and income sources for villagers, and improving the living standards of villagers. Through the guidance of the government, the participation of villagers and external support, an industrial pattern featuring high-quality fruits, flowing water fish farming, Chinese medicinal materials, small workshop winemaking, and stone-ground tofu has gradually been formed. The development and expansion of characteristic industries has led to the development and expansion of the village collective economy, which has increased from more than 50,000 yuan in 2018 to more than 200,000 yuan by the end of 2023, providing financial support for the village's infrastructure construction and public services. In 2020, Hongyan Village was rated as a provincial-level civilized village, becoming a model of economic prosperity, civilization and harmony, and beautiful environment.
The picture of the beautiful countryside has been painted, how can we keep the "color" unchanged? Hongyan Village set up a village environment improvement team to carry out special actions for rural civilization and environmental improvement. The village environmental sanitation is inspected every day, and the garbage is disposed of in a timely manner, so that the daily output is clear, and the living environment of the whole village is significantly improved. Through the policy assistance of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, the village's water, electricity, roads, housing, telecommunications and other infrastructure have been significantly improved, which has facilitated the lives of villagers. Establish a literary and artistic team, set up a new era civilization practice station and a rural bookstore, and enrich the spiritual and cultural life of the villagers. Adopt methods such as star-rated civilized household evaluation and environmental sanitation evaluation to promote the creation of civilization. By strengthening the construction of the public security prevention and control system and setting up a public security patrol team, security and stability have been effectively maintained. In terms of digital villages, full coverage of surveillance cameras at the group level has been realized, reducing the occurrence of illegal and criminal acts. In the investigation and resolution of contradictions and disputes, a mediation committee has been established to resolve contradictions and disputes between villagers in a timely manner, so that "major matters do not leave the village, and small matters do not leave the group", thus maintaining social harmony and stability.
The poor mountain villages, which used to "rely on the mountains to eat the mountains and the water to eat the water", have now tasted the sweetness of ecology and reaped the dividends of ecology by relying on their characteristic advantages of being surrounded by mountains and rivers, and the stamina of green development is constantly increasing......
