Towering Gele Mountain, surging Jialing River. From the pre-Qin period to today, after more than 3,000 years of Shapingba, every grass and tree has grown vigorously in the tunnel of time, and every brick and tile is engraved with the warmth and heaviness of the city. It is the main position of Chongqing Science, Education, Culture and Health Region, the main position of the Western (Chongqing) Science City, and the starting point of the new land-sea corridor in the west. This is the important birthplace of the "Hongyan Spirit", a song "Red Plum Praise", singing the heroic legend of Gele Mountain, and a "Red Rock", accompanied by the growth of several generations of the Republic.
In order to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the Shapingba District Media Center launched a special plan "Red Plum Blossom on Hongyan", focusing on the construction of a modern new Chongqing, focusing on the goal of building "six districts" and telling the stories of development and reform that occurred in Shapingba. We will start with the "small incision", aim the lens and brushstrokes at the "one line", integrate into the daily life of Shapingba people, and reflect the changes and growth of the city.

Bird's-eye view is located in the central station of Tuanjie Village in Shapingba District, 12 strands are intertwined in more than 2,000 acres of freight yard, container trucks are endless, international trains come and go frequently, this is one of the 18 railway container center stations in the country, is the largest comprehensive freight handling station of Chongqing railway hub in the main urban area, and is also a national first-class logistics base and road network distribution center.

"A unity village, half of the history of Chongqing's opening up". This original fourth-class station is undergoing new changes every day. Its road to growth reflects Chongqing's ambition to connect the world even though it is not along the border or near the sea, and has become a "window" for Chongqing to continuously extend the road of opening up to the outside world and touch the world.
The avenue is accessible, the Silk Road resonates, and it flows on the way and gallops endlessly. With the intersection of the "four-way" logistics channel in Tuanjiecun Station, its passenger business has been gradually stripped away, and the former farmland station has developed into an international hub for the "four-way" international passage in the southeast and northwest, and the "four-way" intermodal transport of rail, road, water and air. Tuanjie Village Station has become the origin of Chongqing's opening up to the outside world in the new era, and from here, countless enterprises have knocked on the door of dialogue with the world......
The international train entered the "village" to paint a new picture of the Silk Road
"This is the grand occasion of the first China-Europe train (Yuxinou), and this is our brand new Silk Road Primary School ......" At the Tuzhu Community Cultural Activity Center of Tuzhu Street, Shapingba District, Gao Zequan, the inheritor of Tuzhu printmaking, is giving a printmaking class to the children. Gao Zequan, who has retired, is a native of Tuanzhu and has served as the secretary of the Party Committee of the Tuzhu Community, who has not only witnessed the vicissitudes of Tuanjie Village from a rural village to a new logistics city, but also insisted on creating prints, using a knife and pen in his hand to depict the new changes and happy life brought by the "Belt and Road" initiative to the landowners.
"In 1975, Tuanjiecun Railway Station was officially put into operation, with two trains stopping every day, at 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m." Recalling the situation when Tuanjie Village was used as a fourth-class station, Gao Zequan still remembers it vividly. Gao Zequan recalls that at that time, the Tuanjie Village railway station was surrounded by vendors of melon seeds, peanuts and tea every day. The quarry, goose down, and small restaurants built to replace the sleeper stones of the railroad tracks, the residents of Tuzhu Town have also lived a prosperous life due to the opening of Tuanjiecun Station.
In 2004, a notice issued by the National Development and Reform Commission on the planning of the medium- and long-term railway network was issued to Chongqing, requiring Chongqing to choose a site to build one of the country's 18 national railway container center stations. After repeated arguments by experts, considering factors such as the direction of radiation, the gathering, transportation and distribution of vehicle flow, the combination with the marshalling station, and the operation of small running trains, it was finally determined that the landlord was the best location, and the "Tuanjie Village" ushered in a new life.
For the construction and development of the country, the masses of the landowners gave the greatest support, and although they bid farewell to the land that had been cultivated for generations, they ushered in the grand scene of opening up to the outside world. In 2007, the municipal government set up a modern logistics park in the west; In December 2009, Tuanjiecun Railway Container Center Station was officially put into operation; On March 19, 2011, China's first China-Europe train was successfully launched here; Subsequently, the new western land-sea corridor has realized the connection with Southeast Asian countries such as Singapore; The "Chongqing-Manchurian-Russian" special train and the "Chongqing-Ningbo" train have achieved normal operation, forming an international channel network of "four-way simultaneous development" from east to west, north and south, and was renamed Chongqing International Logistics Hub Park in 2019.

The railway station has been upgraded to a "central station", covering an area of several hundred square meters and expanding to more than 2,000 acres today, and the surrounding villagers have gradually moved into new houses, and the endless flow of trucks and colorful containers has become the "new guests" here. Stroking the prints he created with his own hands, Gao Zequan cherishes the earth-shaking changes that have taken place in the landowner in the past ten years. He said with emotion that with the construction of the logistics park and the proposal of the "Belt and Road" initiative, the location advantage of the landlord has gradually become prominent, and the exclusive channel advantage has opened the door to the outside world for the landlord.

"The current dry port of Chongqing, the new land-sea channel, was originally a cornfield of our society; Minsheng logistics base, I remember that it used to be a chicken farm. In the past ten years, the urban construction of the main area has changed with each passing day, and people's lives have become more and more delicious. Gao Zequan said that the international train into the "village", to the residents brought earth-shaking changes, as the starting point of the China-Europe train (Yuxinou) Tuzhu Town has been set up as the main street, the development momentum is strong, is in accordance with the logistics center, cultural tourism center, industrial center for high standards to build. At the same time, facilities such as schools, hospitals, community environment, and supporting gymnasiums and service stations are also being comprehensively improved. The largest railway container center station and marshalling station in southwest China were completed and put into use; Sunac Mao's full-featured commercial complex enriches the three-dimensional business model; Theme parks and hotel groups fill the resource gap of local tourism; A high-quality education platform covering the integration of kindergarten, primary and junior high schools, and optimizing high-end educational resources; Boutique homes replace traditional farmland houses; A modern gymnasium and a green reading park are connected......
The changes around him made Gao Zequan feel a sense of harvest and happiness. Although he is now retired, Gao Zequan still does not stop creating prints. "The prints I am creating now should show more of the convenient transportation, high-quality education, natural and cultural landscape convergence and integration of cultural and tourism resources in our Tuanjie Village and even the Logistics New City. I will continue to use our 'soil exhibition board' to paint a new picture of the Silk Road and inject new vitality into the development of the land owner." Gao Zequan said.
Enrich the rules of supply exploration and break the bottleneck that restricts the development of the channel
Since the beginning of this year, Shapingba District has been integrated into the construction of the "Belt and Road" with high quality, and as of now, Shapingba District has ranked first in the city and leading the country in the three core indicators of international train operation, container volume and cargo value in 2024. The steel dragon is constantly galloping forward, who would have thought that in the face of a large exit channel, it was once worried about the supply of goods.
At the vehicle import port of Chongqing Railway Port, a batch of parallel imported cars arrived here through the China-Europe train, and Han Chao led his team to check the freight list one by one, and it will be tested online after it is correct. "This is a very important source of return goods for our railway port, and the beautiful vision of the China-Europe train must be 'two-way running', but from the dream to reality, we have overcome many difficulties." Han Chao said.

Han Chao is currently the Deputy General Manager of Chongqing International Logistics Hub Park, and the head of the railway port and export-oriented economic sector. He recalled that in 2011, the first Chongqing-New Europe train was sent from Chongqing. How to use the channel platform to organize the return supply of goods, reach a consensus with countries along the way in customs clearance, and promote the development of an open economy is a problem they have been thinking about. But there is no experience to follow in all this, and you have to rely on yourself to slowly explore.
It is reported that since the opening of the Yuxinou train, for a long period of time, laptops going to sea has been an important business of Yuxinou. But it didn't take long for everyone to realize that the proportion of goods going to and from the back trip was very uneven. Containers "only go out but not in", and sometimes even have to transfer empty containers back in Europe through sea freight, resulting in high logistics costs. At this time, the idea of setting up a railway port in Chongqing came into being. In 2014, Chongqing Railway Port was approved to become the first automobile import port in the western inland region, and in October of the same year, it passed the acceptance of five national ministries and commissions including the General Administration of Customs.

With the rising enthusiasm of countries and regions along the route to jointly build the "Belt and Road", European car companies have seen the sincerity of Chongqing's opening to the outside world, and Germany BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and other automobile companies have joined in, and finally formed the first 80 imported vehicles to form a train, realizing the breakthrough of "0" for the intercontinental transportation of complete vehicles through railways, and also providing replicable experience for subsequent vehicle imports and parallel car imports by railway.
"With the normalization of vehicle imports, we have established a very good cooperative relationship with vehicle related enterprises. At the same time, in order to better serve enterprises and solve the common pain points of enterprise operation, we actively explore 'land trade rules', and effectively reduce costs and increase efficiency for enterprises. Han Chao introduced that in the past ten years, the innovative implementation of the "railway bill of lading letter of credit" settlement is the best case. In the previous "maritime trade rules", the sea waybill can be used as a "bill of lading", that is, it can be used as a property certificate, which can be used for financing bills, so that it has financial attributes.
In December 2017, the world's first international trade goods settled by "railway bill of lading international letter of credit" arrived at Tuanjiecun Central Station on the China-Europe Express (Yuxinou), which marks that the railway bill of lading can be like the ocean bill of lading, and also becomes a property certificate, which also means that Chongqing has taken a key step in exploring land trade rules.
"On March 23, 2018, 12 parallel import cars with railway bill of lading L/C as the international settlement method arrived at Tuanjie Village Central Station, marking the first batch application of Chongqing in the exploration of railway bills of lading." According to Han Chao, this also makes the railway bill of lading have the same financial attributes as the sea bill of lading, reduces the financial cost and trade risk of enterprises, and also accelerates the motivation of enterprises to expand international trade.
In recent years, Shapingba District has actively explored the rules of land trade, innovatively endowed the railway bill of lading with the property right attributes, the first multimodal transport "one single system" digital bill of lading, the first international postal transport standard, and the innovative freight segmented settlement system, so that the efficiency of multimodal transport has been continuously improved, and the international logistics cost of enterprises has been significantly reduced. At the 24th China International Fair for Investment and Trade "Business Environment Forum", the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) promoted and released the national business environment innovation practice cases to the world, and "Chongqing Shapingba District Strives to Promote Logistics Enterprises to Reduce Costs and Increase Efficiency to Help Enterprises Better "Go to Sea" has become the only selected case in Chongqing and even southwest China.
