On the west coast of the Isle of Allen in Scotland, there is a vast and mysterious peat bog, Machrie Moor, which is blown by strong sea breezes all year round. This barren and undulating terrain is dotted with stone circles and standing stones from the Bronze Age, which bear witness to the vicissitudes of time. One of the stone circles called Fingal's Cauldron Seat stands particularly striking, where a stone with a carved hole stands. Legend has it that Fingal, a giant warrior, once tethered his favorite and most loyal guardian dog, Bran, to this treacherous rock. The surrounding scenery is full of epic essence into this legend, which is the myth and legend of the "Giant Guardian Dog" belonging to the Isle of Allen.
