Shandong port: Qingdao port, Dongjiakou port area
The third phase of the grain silo and the supporting process project
Successfully passed the completion acceptance,
3 months ahead of schedule.
This is the first port project to be completed in Qingdao's transportation infrastructure construction in 2024, and it is also another phased achievement of Qingdao in actively promoting the construction of a world-class marine port and accelerating the construction of Qingdao International Shipping Center.
The project is located in the North Santu Embankment of Dongjiakou Port Area, with 16 concrete grain silos with a total storage capacity of 160,000 tons, equipped with 2 grain unloaders, 2 ship unloaders and corresponding process systems and supporting facilities. After the completion of the project, Qingdao Port will increase its annual throughput capacity of 7.5 million tons, which will further enhance the capacity of the wharf for handling and grain silos, meet the growing demand for grain for grain trade in the service hinterland of Dongjiakou Port and the grain and oil processing project in the port, and consolidate the status of Qingdao Port as a major port for bulk grain handling in China.
In terms of construction speed, the foundation of the cap of the project adopts the brick mold construction technology, so that the foundation construction of 16 cushion caps can be carried out synchronously, which is completed 30 days ahead of the traditional steel mold or wood form, and the foundation construction of 16 cushion caps is completed in only 45 days, and the sliding form construction of 16 silos with a total of 420 meters is completed in 35 days. In addition, during the renovation of the reprint building, the construction period that originally took one month was reduced to seven days and seven nights.
This year, Qingdao plans to implement 8 port projects. In the first half of the year, two projects, including the working ship wharf project in the Langya Taiwan operation area of Dongjiakou Port Area and the 120,000-ton oil product wharf project in Dongjiakou Port Area, started construction.
Among the continuation projects, the Gangtou Wanbang Ore Terminal is the second 400,000-ton ore terminal in Dongjiakou Port Area, and this year it will mainly promote the construction of wharves and approach bridges, production and auxiliary buildings, and storage yards. It is estimated that after the project is completed and put into use in June 2025, the iron ore handling capacity of Dongjiakou Port will be increased by 16 million tons, and the yard area will increase by 1.25 million square meters, forming a linkage effect with the raw ore wharf and improving the efficiency of ore trade and transportation in the belly subway.
Dongjiakou Port Area is a port in Shandong
One-time planning of the largest land area,
