"I am very interested in ancient Chinese calligraphy and painting, and I have not had the opportunity to learn about it before, so I came here to enjoy it up close." Zhide, an international student from Uzbekistan, said excitedly. Recently, more than 40 students walked into the Dong Qichang Calligraphy and Painting Art Museum in Zuibaichi Park, Shanghai, to carry out the appreciation and analysis of "Ten Thousand Transformations from the Heart - Songjiang School of Painting Special Exhibition".
In this class, the curator Jia Jiahui was invited to interpret the charm of the Songjiang School of painting through the way of explanation and guided tours, combined with the appreciation of authentic works on the spot. "Typified by 'the universe in the hand, all things come from the heart', the Songjiang School can help us interrogate the essence of art and return to the value of Chinese cultural ontology, so it is of unique significance." Jia Jiahui said to the teachers and students who visited the exhibition. This exhibition exhibits a wealth of authentic works of famous artists, which is a feast for teachers and students. The works of Dong Qichang, a generation of grandmasters, Chen Jiru and Mo Shilong in the "Three Friends of the Clouds", as well as Song Xu, Gu Zhengyi, the pioneers of the Songjiang School, and many other core painters of the Songjiang School gathered together, fully demonstrating the artistic style of the Songjiang School. Gong Weina of the school's Wutong Calligraphy Club said: "Through this activity, I deeply experienced the high integration of calligraphy and painting in the Songjiang School, and Dong Qichang's emphasis on calligraphy into painting to enhance the expressiveness of painting when creating landscape paintings, which refreshed my view of traditional Chinese painting." ”
It is worth mentioning that more than half of the students in this class are international students who are interested in traditional Chinese culture, which is also the largest number of international students who have signed up since the launch of the open course on aesthetic education. "What interests me the most is the historical heritage behind the work, Chinese calligraphy is not only artistic, but also a cultural and historical embodiment." Gu Danni, an international student from Equatorial Guinea, was full of praise for the artistry of the works on display.
In addition to visiting the exhibition, the international students were also very interested in the interactive experience of calligraphy and painting and painting seals: they copied calligraphy works one by one on the interactive all-in-one machine and got instant comments; Follow the creative steps of Chinese painting "hook, hook, point" to complete a Chinese painting of your own; Check in, collect famous calligraphy and painting stamps and compare them with each other...... Everyone's eyes revealed joy and curiosity.
According to reports, the "Meiyun Life" aesthetic education open course is led by the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee and the Civilization Office of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, which is carried out once a month, aiming to use rich public cultural resources to improve students' aesthetic and humanistic qualities. The activity of entering the Dong Qichang Painting and Calligraphy Art Museum not only provided an opportunity for students to get close to and understand the traditional Chinese painting art, but also further promoted the exchange and inheritance of culture.
