Traditional Chinese medicine has been used in the ancient land of China for thousands of years, and after thousands of years of clinical practice, it has been confirmed that Chinese traditional Chinese medicine is conclusive, effective and feasible in terms of disease treatment, disease prevention, and health preservation.
Before Western medicine was introduced to China, our ancestors used Chinese medicine to treat diseases for generations, saving countless lives. TCM treatment of diseases is macroscopic and comprehensive. Traditional Chinese medicine, i.e. as opposed to Western medicine. Before Western medicine flowed into China, Chinese medicine was basically not called Chinese medicine, but had a unique and rich title.
The theory of TCM is derived from the summary of medical experience and the ancient Chinese thought of yin and yang and the five elements. Its contents include the theory of essence and qi, the theory of yin and yang and the five elements, qi, blood and fluid, Tibetan images, meridians, constitution, etiology, pathogenesis, pathogenesis, treatment principles, health preservation, etc. As early as more than 2,000 years ago, the Chinese medicine monograph "The Yellow Emperor's Neijing" came out, laying the foundation of Chinese medicine. To this day, the theories, diagnoses, and treatments related to traditional Chinese medicine can all be found in this book.
The theoretical system of traditional Chinese medicine is gradually formed after long-term clinical practice under the guidance of materialism and dialectical thought, which comes from practice and in turn guides practice. Through the analysis of the phenomenon, its internal mechanism is explored. Therefore, this unique theoretical system of Chinese medicine has two basic characteristics, one is the overall concept, and the other is the differentiation of syndromes. The basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine is a theoretical summary of the changes in the life activities and diseases of the human body, which mainly includes the theories of yin and yang, five elements, qi, blood, fluid, visceral images, meridians, luck, etc., as well as etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, syndrome differentiation, treatment rules, prevention, health preservation, etc.
Yin and Yang are generalizations of the properties of opposing sides of interrelated things or phenomena in the universe. Originally, it referred to the back of the daylight, which was yang to the sun and yin to the back day. The interaction of yin and yang includes: yin and yang sympathy, opposing constraints, mutual root interaction, ebbs and flows balance, and mutual transformation.
The doctrine of yin and yang is a category of ancient Chinese philosophy. Deng's modern yin and yang is a division or subdivision of the "unity of opposites" or "contradictory relationship", and the two are species. The law of the unity of opposites is the superordinate concept of "yin and yang", and yin and yang are the two subordinate concepts of the unity of opposites. Speaking of yin and yang, we must talk about the "Taiji Diagram" that represents yin and yang, and the "Taiji Diagram" is an expression of the combination of symbolism and righteousness, and it is also the most concise expression of all things in the universe and human society, so it can also best represent the inherent holistic way of thinking in China. The circles of each layer of the Taiji Diagram express that all things in the universe are a whole and are complete. The monism of "Wuji-Taiji" in Confucian philosophy corresponds to the "great unification of the Spring and Autumn Period" in Confucian history.
The Taiji diagram originated from the practice of measuring the sun's shadow by the ancients, and is the result of the ancients' study of the laws of the sun's motion. The ancients noticed that the reciprocating changes of heat and cold are related to the movement of the sun, and used the projection law of the sun on the earth to study and explore the influence of the sun's motion law on all things in heaven and earth.
The "Zhou Ji Sutra" records the data of the sun shadow measured in the 24 solar terms of a year;
Summer solstice→ autumnal equinox→ winter solstice:
Summer solstice: The sundial is one foot six inches long;
Xiaoxia: two feet five inches and nine minutes and one small one;
Great heat: three feet five inches, eight minutes and two small points;
Liqiu: four feet five inches seven minutes and three small points;
Heat: 5 feet 5 inches 6 minutes and 4 minutes;
White dew: 6 feet 5 inches 5 minutes small 5 points;
Autumn equinox: seven feet five inches and five minutes;
Cold dew: eight feet five inches and four minutes and one small one;
Frost fall: nine feet five inches, three points and two small points;
Lidong: five inches and two minutes and three small points;
Light snow: zhang 1 foot 5 inches 1 minute small 4 points;
Heavy snow: 2 feet 5 inches and 5 inches;
Winter solstice: 3 feet 5 inches.
Winter solstice→ spring equinox→ summer solstice:
Winter solstice: 3 feet 5 inches;
Xiaohan: 2 feet 5 inches and 5 inches;
Great cold: one foot five inches and one minute and four small points;
Lichun: five inches and two minutes and three small points;
Rain: 9 feet 5 inches, 3 minutes and 2 minutes;
Sting: 8 feet 5 inches and 4 minutes and 1 small one;
Vernal equinox: 7 feet 5 inches 5 minutes;
Qingming: 6 feet 5 inches and 5 minutes and 5 minutes and 5 minutes;
Gu Yu: five feet five inches six minutes and four small points;
Lixia: four feet five inches, seven minutes and three small points;
Xiaoman: three feet five inches and eight minutes and two small points;
Miscanthus species: two feet five inches and nine minutes of small one;
Summer solstice: one foot six inches.
In the pre-Qin period, when there were no precise measuring instruments, the scale could only be a basic estimate. Suppose that 1 foot 6 inches is recorded as 2, as the unit length, and rounded, and the summer solstice pole on the Tropic of Cancer is shadowless, so the summer solstice shadow length is subtracted by 1 foot 6 inches; According to these sundial mappings, the projection of spring and summer when the sun moves from south to north is the yangyi, which is divided into spring and summer (moving from the Tropic of Cancer to the Tropic of Cancer via the equator); The projection of the autumn and winter seasons when the sun moves from north to south is the yin, which is divided into autumn and winter (moving from the Tropic of Cancer to the Tropic of Cancer via the equator). In this way, Tai Chi gives birth to two instruments, and the original measured Tai Chi diagram can be obtained.
It is important to mention that the ecliptic equator has an intersection angle, and it is precisely because of this intersection angle that the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter are formed, and this intersection angle is also clearly displayed on the Taiji diagram, which is actually the tail of our two Taiji diagrams, and the angle is 23.26 degrees. It can be seen how scientific the Taiji diagram is, and how rigorous and scientific Chinese medicine is! The Taiji diagram is also the same as the Hetu Luoshu, which is a three-dimensional sphere, and the two-dimensional projection becomes a flat surface that we see.
Yin and yang, etymically speaking, is related to sunlight.
All things depend on the sun for growth, and life activities on the earth are inseparable from the irradiation of sunlight. If there is no sunlight, it is eternal cold and darkness, and yin and yang, as the most basic symbols in the hexagram symbol model, depict the illumination of sunlight, which can be described as an innate specialty. China is located in the northern hemisphere, and the earth rotates around the sun. However, the axis of the earth's rotation is not perpendicular to its orbital plane, it is oblique, at an inclination angle of 23 degrees 26 minutes, that is, there is a yellow-red intersection angle between the equatorial circle and the ecliptic circle, and this intersection angle is the reason for the occurrence of the two solstices and equinoxes. When the sun is shining on the Tropic of Capricorn, it is the summer solstice.
Traditional Chinese medicine adopts a dynamic view of time and space, that is, any person or thing is included in a specific time and space, everything is in a cycle of movement and change, for a certain individual, it is unique, and at the same time, any time point corresponding to it is also unique, so the time and space point it is located is unique. But for the whole process of the development of things, it is cyclical, that is, everything has a process of existence and disappearance. Therefore, we can discover the specific laws of things through their influence on the whole process of development, and use them as laws to guide the activities of the present; The cycle of things goes back and forth, everywhere, such as the reincarnation of Buddhism, Taoism proposes: the life of people, the gathering of qi, the gathering of life, and the scattering of death. Traditional Chinese medicine adopts this philosophical system of thinking, which places people in a time and space to observe the state, and then makes it tend to be balanced.
The world is made up of matter, and Chinese medicine believes that everything is made up of essence, which is constantly moving and changing. Yin and Yang are a state of existence of all things, and the five elements are the generalization of the attributes of things, and Yin and Yang, the five elements are in a process of constant movement and change, and their changes have certain internal laws to follow. Everything has its trajectory, the universe is a cycle, the earth revolves around the sun for a year, divided into spring, summer, autumn and winter, and the four seasons are distinct; As far as the human body itself is concerned, the operation of qi and blood, the characteristics of the function of the viscera, according to the characteristics of time, the meridian flow of Chinese medicine is a summary of the time of qi and blood flow, so the time therapy of Chinese medicine is also an important embodiment of the concept of time and space.
The syndrome differentiation and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine is the best use of the concept of time and space, and it is also the crystallization of human wisdom, that is, to look at the problem from the perspective of dynamic, developmental and changing, and to grasp the development of diseases in the movement and change. If a person's life is divided into various stages, the childhood should be the vigor of the liver and wood, the youth should be warm, the middle-aged should be the soil of the earth, the middle-aged and the elderly should be clear in autumn, and the old should be cold in winter; The child's body is less yang, its sex is wood-like, and the one with less yang is the beginning of the yang, and the immature is insufficient, and the sex is bitter and cold; The liver likes to be adjusted, and depression is harmful. As far as the human body is concerned, the kidney, that is, the reproductive function of the five internal organs develops late, and the kidney has no empirical evidence, all of which are through the liver and wood to promote the growth of the human body, as we see in our daily life, school-age children have better memory, and adolescence is often rebellious and restless, followed by memory, and middle-aged memory is secondary. Children's kidney essence is not dispersed, the essence gathers and the spirit will be in the brain, the mind is bright and clear, the adolescent essence is diarrhea and can not be discharged, so it is restless, the middle-aged essence is vented, so the head is empty and the brain is ringing, the height growth of children is also in the early and adolescence, and it is also related to the discharge of kidney essence, the yang main rises, and the yang qi is enough to be honored in the brain, so the cerebral marrow develops rapidly, the kidney is below, the brain is on the top, the essence is lost in the bottom, the yang is on the top, and the body is void for the upper and the bottom, in general, the yang is not enough, so the yang is hyperactive in the top, the qi is depressed in the middle, and the essence is weak in the bottom, the basic pathological characteristics of this pediatrics, In the lower when the nourishment of the supplement, in the middle of the dredging of the pass, in the above is the collection of the convergence, the use of sweet and sour and not should not be bitter and cold straight folding, born without killing, reward but not punished, this is the right way to treat pediatric diseases.
