Hunt The Mouse is the largest scavenger hunt ever in Singapore and has the largest cash prize pool to date in Singapore. The barrier to entry is extremely low, so you just have to wander around the island and look for hidden coins to win big cash prizes.
The game is not only free to participate in, but is also open to Singapore residents and tourists.
Over the past three years, the game has attracted more than 500,000 players to travel the island in search of hidden coins. This year's fifth round of prize money is 10 times that of 2023 – S$1 million.
Many groups of young players even turned on flashlights and used sticks to try to rummage through the cracks of Singapore's stones in the dark of the blind light with the help of weak lights. Once you get a gold coin, you will be exchanged for a life-changing S$500,000 jackpot.

In the streets during the day, players can still be seen everywhere! They scour every nook and cranny where a coin might be hidden, never letting go of any clues.

This year's game is similar in difficulty to last year, with the number of silver coins hidden throughout Singapore increased from 100 to 300, including a S$500,000 gold coin, 175 S$2,500 silver coins and 125 S$500 silver coins. Coins can be exchanged for cash, which has the goal of giving more players a chance to win prizes.
Players are advised to follow the tips posted 3 times a day on Sqkii's Instagram, Facebook, and Telegram, as well as the live map on the game's website to locate these hidden coins.
Although the game may seem simple, it actually requires the player's observation, strategy, and teamwork. Hunt The Mouse started at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) with one winner receiving a prize of S$800.

The game was suspended in 2020 and moved to a hybrid mode consisting of online and offline mechanics in 2021. To date, 193 players have won over S$400,000 in cash prizes through this one-of-a-kind game. In the 2023 tournament, active players spend an average of three hours each time they go out looking for coins.
It is important to note that for the safety of the participants, coins must not be hidden in restricted areas, where safety is endangered, where they need to be opened, dismantled or destroyed, under water, and not buried underground.
