Shicheng: The "photovoltaic +" industrial model promotes the green and low-carbon development of enterprises

In recent years, Shicheng Town has thoroughly studied and implemented Xi Jinping's thought on ecological civilization, closely focused on the goals of "carbon peak" and "carbon neutrality", and actively promoted the "photovoltaic +" industrial model, effectively alleviating the pressure on power supply during peak production periods, reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions, and boosting the green and low-carbon development of enterprises.

Overlooking the Zhongyun Stone Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park from a high altitude, dense photovoltaic solar panels cover the roofs of the park's factories and commercial complexes. It is understood that these photovoltaic panels are the components of the first phase of the 8.76MWp rooftop distributed photovoltaic power generation project in Yunfu, Guangdong, and more than 15,000 photovoltaic panels have been installed, some of which have been connected to the grid for nearly 3 months, and the power generation capacity of the project is expected to exceed 9 million kWh in the first year. Compared with traditional thermal power generation, the project can save about 2741.84 tons of standard coal per year (based on the average standard coal consumption of 328g/kWh), and at the same time reduce the emission of a variety of air pollutants.

Wang Pingyun, head of Zhongyun Shihai distributed photovoltaic power generation project: the use of existing factories and shop roofs to install distributed photovoltaics, giving fixed assets a "second life" can increase a large source of income, the power generated by the project will be mainly supplied to the factories and shops for their own use, and the excess electricity will be supplied to the society through the power grid in exchange for electricity price income, and at the same time, it will also effectively reduce the carbon emissions of the park, bringing more possibilities for building green parks and green industries.

Walking into the Yun'an District Beef Cattle Industrial Park, you can also feel the "speed" and "heat" of the construction of photovoltaic power generation projects. The project plans to invest 50 million yuan to build a 10.9MWp distributed photovoltaic power generation project by using the roof resources of the slaughterhouse and farm of Yunfu Baicheng Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. The project started construction in August 2024 and is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year, with an estimated annual power generation capacity of more than 12 million kWh after completion. Compared with traditional thermal power generation, the project can save about 3,342.77 tons of standard coal per year (based on an average standard coal consumption of 328g/kWh), realizing the low-carbon and green development of the industrial park.

Zheng Youyan, project manager of distributed photovoltaic power generation of Yunfu Baicheng Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd.: Yunfu Baicheng Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. slaughterhouse and farm roof distributed photovoltaic power generation project is constructed in three phases, with a construction area of 80,000 square meters. At present, the first batch of photovoltaic components has been installed, the second batch of photovoltaic modules have been put in place, and the construction and installation are being arranged, and we expect to fully complete the installation of photovoltaic modules by the end of this year.
