The north of the 38th parallel moved first, North Korea ordered to prepare for shooting, 8 artillery brigades have been aimed at Korea, Yoon Seok-yue wants China to come forward to persuade?
Since North Korea announced last week that it would cut off rail links with Korea, the northern side of the 38th parallel has moved first. According to an ITAR report on October 14, the General Staff of the Korean People's Army issued an instruction on operational readiness on the 12th, ordering eight artillery brigades near the national border to enter a state of firing readiness on the evening of the 13th.

North Korea's action was mainly in response to the "drone incursion" that occurred in Pyongyang last week. According to North Korean accounts, drones from Korea flew over the central district of Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea, on the 3rd, 9th and 10th of this month, distributing "anti-DPRK" leaflets.
The DPRK Ministry of National Defense pointed out on the 13th that if a similar situation occurs again, it will be regarded as a declaration of war by the ROK against the DPRK, and the DPRK will take action according to its judgment.
Korea defended that "no drones were launched into North Korea", and the specific situation is not clear, and it is still in the process of verification.
However, the DPRK side obviously did not accept this set, and immediately took action; in addition to dispatching eight artillery brigades to target Korea and be ready to shoot at any time, the DPRK side was also preparing to blow up the inter-Korean connecting road.
The Korea military revealed on the 14th that it had been captured through surveillance equipment that the North Korean army appeared in the area of the junction of the inter-Korean highway on the Gyeongui Line and the Donghae Line, suspected of preparing for the bombing of the highway.

In fact, as early as October 9, the DPRK General Staff announced that it would cut off the roads and railways connecting the DPRK and the ROK from now on, and carry out fortification work in the border areas.
Therefore, it is not surprising that the DPRK side has taken follow-up actions, but with the escalation of the confrontation between the DPRK and the ROK, the situation on the peninsula has become more and more tense, and it has to arouse the vigilance of neighboring countries.
As the front line of the confrontation, Korea needs to find a way back for itself. Therefore, in recent times, Korea has frequently released dialogue signals to China, and even Korea President Yoon Seok-yue, who has always been pro-American, has begun to show goodwill to China, which is quite surprising.
On the same day that Pyongyang announced that it would cut off inter-Korean transportation roads, Yoon Seok-yue said that although China has fought with the South Korean army and the "United Nations Army" on the side of North Korea, Korea should not be trapped in this history, but should look to the future and develop Sino-South Korean relations.
His remarks seem to be "showing goodwill" to China, but in fact he is still repeating the same old tune, and he also brought out the false proposition of the so-called "United Nations Army" to support Korea and hope that China will exert influence on the North Korean issue, which is obviously unrealistic.

The root cause of the tension on the Korean Peninsula is very clear: It is precisely because the United States and South Korea continue to escalate their military actions, use force to deter the DPRK, and constantly reduce the security space of the DPRK, that the latter is forced to take tough measures to respond.
Whenever North Korea responds, the United States and South Korea will turn the other cheeks, accusing North Korea of "undermining peace and stability on the peninsula" and further escalating its military deterrence against North Korea, which has led to a "spiral escalation" of the situation on the peninsula.
If Korea truly hopes for peace and stability on the peninsula, it should first reflect on its own actions and stop cooperating with United States in escalating military action. Otherwise, don't put on such a high-sounding rhetoric.
When meeting with Korea Foreign Minister Cho Toe-yeol not long ago, Foreign Minister Wang Yi bluntly said that the Korean Peninsula should not cause war and chaos, and that maintaining peace and stability on the peninsula is in the common interests of all parties.

This is not only our position, but also can be regarded as a demand on the ROK side, even if the United States is behind the support of Korea, China, as a close neighbor of the DPRK, will not sit idly by and watch the war break out on the peninsula.
