In the next few days, the Singapore College Chinese Reading Festival will be launched immediately, and it has to be said that it is really a paradise for lovers of reading and literature.
Eight master classes, lectures and events will be presented by senior professors and emerging writers from Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore, covering topics ranging from ancient to modern, including discussions on the cultural awareness and poetry of "Slow Voice", outstanding poets and essay collection Yang Mu.
This year's Chinese Reading Festival for Tertiary Studies is jointly organized by the Committee for the Promotion of Chinese Language Learning and the Department of Chinese of Singapore University of Social Sciences, hoping to build a bridge between literary creators and tertiary students, and to enhance their interest in reading and promote the exchange and development of Chinese literature through the introduction, introduction and display of literary works.

The opening ceremony of the Chinese Reading Festival will be held this Saturday (19 October) from 9am to 12pm at the Music Box of Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
The opening ceremony specially invited Professor Chen Yizhi, a well-known scholar and writer in Taiwan, who will deliver a keynote speech "The Depth and Breadth of Literary Reading" to share with you the charm and thinking of literary reading.
