One is a choreographer, the other is a broadcaster, and after Wan Yanting and Wang Wanying, a college student couple in Jimo, returned to their hometowns, they set off a youth storm in Tianheng, the hometown of sea cucumbers. They introduced seahorses from other places, successfully overcome the problem of stable reproduction of offspring, 2,000 seahorses bred 300,000 in less than half a year, and the income is expected to reach 5 million to 10 million, attracting many old farmers around to come to learn from experience.
He has set up stalls, held training courses, and invested millions of cross-border seahorses
Wang Wanying, 25 years old this year, is in Jisutian Heng. "Although I studied film and television directing, I like to do business in heaven," said Ms. Wang, who worked for a company for a few months after graduating from university, and soon realized that it was better to work for others than to earn money for herself.
So, she quit her job and went home, selling sea cucumbers through the Internet and stalls. Subject: Wan Yanting and her are high school classmates, majoring in broadcasting and hosting in college. After graduating, he set up a training class near the community, and he only attended classes on weekends, earning six or seven thousand yuan a month.
"Maybe we are born to toss and turn, and we don't want to be so laid-back at a young age," Ms. Wang said, adding that by chance, she met someone who breeds seahorses in Northeast China. Previously, the other party failed to breed sea cucumbers, but after four years of exploration, they finally mastered the breeding technology of seahorses. After the seedlings are stocked, the survival rate can exceed 95%, and the income is very good.
As a traditional and more expensive Chinese medicinal material, seahorse has always been in short supply, and the price is very high. In recent years, there has been a boom in seahorse breeding in China, but many people can't solve the problem of stable reproduction of offspring, resulting in low returns. Wang said that the seahorse reproduction rate is amazing, and it will reproduce once every half a month. However, many people buy seedlings, and their offspring cannot grow and may die within a month. Fortunately, even dead seahorses can be dried and used in medicine, but this basically does not make money, which is also the most important reason why seahorse breeding has not been developed on a large scale in the early stage.
In April this year, after a two-month inspection. They felt that since they had mature technology, they made up their minds to introduce seahorse breeding to Qingdao and fight while they were young.
The two took turns in white and black, refining from Princess Jiao to a female man
There are many greenhouses for sea cucumber seedlings in Jimo, and seahorses can be raised with a slight improvement in the facilities. Due to lack of funds, the two took out all their savings, and the rest was funded by Wang Yunying's sister, and contracted three greenhouses, each with 50 breeding, and invested more than 1 million yuan.
At first, the family thought they were joking, or gave up after trying. Unexpectedly, the two began to compare their lives.
It turned out that at home, Wang Wanying often slept until more than 10 o'clock in the morning before getting up, and life was more about stretching out her hands for clothes and opening her mouth for food. Not only that, but she is also very afraid of mice, and will run far away when she hears movement.
After the greenhouse was built, they purchased 2,000 seahorses from the northeast. Every day at 4 o'clock in the morning, Wan Yanting has to get up to fish for small seahorses and distribute them to other pools. If it is dawn, the seahorse will eat the baby seahorse. When he was done, he had to clean the bottom of the pool until six or seven o'clock in the evening.
At night, Wang is responsible for patrolling the night to check the growth of seahorses. Several times, when the oxygen delivery equipment suddenly failed, she found it as soon as possible and repaired it quickly, otherwise the seahorse may die due to lack of oxygen. Once, because of a problem with the line, there was almost a fire, and it was the first time I found it during the night patrol.
"My dad couldn't stay up for a while, and I've been here," Ms. Wang said, adding that rats and other animals are often seen at the beach. She used to see her run away, but now she picks up the tool and catches it. After 6 months of careful care, the seahorses they bred successfully solved the problem of reproduction of offspring.
According to reports, the breeding rate of mature seahorses is very amazing, and they will lay eggs once every half a month, and more than 100 small seahorses will be born each time. After half a year, the initial purchase of 2,000 seahorses has grown to 300,000. It is expected that by March next year, it will exceed 1 million.
ushered in a good start with an estimated income of millions, which will lead the surrounding fishermen to get rich together
Wan Yanting said that the price of seahorses is very high now. Taking three- or four-month-old seahorse seedlings as an example, a seahorse can be sold for 10 yuan. If the seahorse is dried for a year, about seven or eight hundred can reach 1 kilogram, and the price is more than 10,000 yuan. By now, the seahorses in their breeding ponds have long since paid for themselves. However, they want to keep the seahorses breeding for several generations and then sell them after the New Year, and they expect to earn 5 million to 10 million dollars.
When it comes to the future, they hope to develop a seahorse breeding industry in Tianheng. There is a big gap in the seahorse breeding market now, and there is never a need to go out to sell. Buyers are asking everywhere, as long as there is a stock, they will come to buy it. As an emerging breeding industry, the profits of seahorses are more than ten times higher than that of sea cucumbers. Today, their seahorse breeding technology is relatively mature, but the ability of two people is limited, and the scale is also limited. They want to export technology and seedlings to drive the surrounding villagers to get rich together.
"Now there are a lot of people around me who come to inquire." Wan Yanting said that sea cucumber farming is already a sunset industry, the scale is getting bigger and bigger, the price is getting lower and lower, and the income of farmers is getting less and less, and there is no way to change careers. Seahorse breeding is still in a blue ocean, which can also drive the transformation of surrounding villagers.
"If you want to make an industry, you have to have scale." Wan Yanting said that after becoming an industry, it will be able to build brand awareness. In addition to the fixed investment in the early stage, the cost of breeding in the later stage is very low, and they do not need to eat too much, which is basically electricity and labor costs. The core is seed and technology.
They hope that through the cooperative model, the seedlings and technology will be provided to the surrounding villagers, and they will be responsible for the sales. In this way, fishermen have high profits through transformation, and they can focus on iterative development of technology and look for other possibilities.
