Contemporary Guangxi Netnews (correspondent Yan Jianfen) In order to improve students' literary literacy and stimulate more creative possibilities. "Literature Lecture Hall" - The eighth session of the series of lectures by writers of River Pond College into the campus was recently opened. The famous writer Li Ximin gave a lecture on the theme of "Persistence is a Faith", which was presided over by Chen Daiyun, vice president of the School of Literature and Media.
In the lecture, Li Ximin quoted the story of the painter David in the movie "The Mist" who insisted on the hope of life and finally succeeded in being rescued in the desperate road of encountering the evil "fog" invasion and constantly escaping to lead to the central "persistence" he wanted to tell. Subsequently, Li Ximin combined his own experience and used vivid language to tell the teachers and students present about his story and writing path.
Li Ximin said that when he was a teenager, it was writing that supported him to survive the hunger and poverty in his hometown; although he hated the poverty of his hometown, he was also grateful for the inspiration given to him by his hometown, which led him to write the Tangzhen trilogy. Li Ximin still remembers his 20-year career in the army, in the army, he insisted on writing in his spare time during the day, and at night he would write under the covers, and finally in the third year of the army, he published the essay "Dead Tree". And the career of the army has also allowed him to accumulate a large number of character materials and stories.
When talking about his encounter with the Wenchuan earthquake, Li Ximin chose a lighter tone and told the teachers and students present about the painful experience of being buried under the rubble for 76 hours. Li Ximin said that during the 76 hours of burial, he relied on his right hand, which could only move, to scrape iron nails, constantly making himself feel pain and insisting on being sober, and it was also the strength of literature that supported him to insist on his life and not give up hope. After being rescued, Li Ximin wrote "Survivor" based on his own experience, and he emphasized that "Survivor" is to record the experience and persistence of individuals in the earthquake.
During the interactive session, the students raised their hands to ask Questions to Li Ximin, who used his own experience and the stories around him to give answers and suggestions. A student asked him, "How do you create the image of a humble person?" If your creation does not achieve the desired effect, should you revise it repeatedly? Li Ximin replied: "When shaping characters, you should stand on an equal footing with the 'humble one'; if your own creation does not achieve the expected effect, you should conceive a new story, and then solve the problems existing in the previous creation in the writing process"; For the doubts of students that there is a "sense of inferiority in literature", Li Ximin answered: "The existence of literature is humble because you are in awe of literature, which is very valuable in literary creation"...
This lecture is in-depth and simple, not only the explanation of creative knowledge, but also the analysis and suggestions of creative methods, and many vivid and vivid cases are listed. Teachers and students present said that this lecture is rich in content and has benefited a lot, and has guiding significance for their own creation in the future.
