Deng Yuli, known as the "godfather of foreign exchange" in Hong Kong's financial circles, unveiled his new book "Dream Back to Changbai - Wandering the Great Northeast" and the Northeast Landscape Photography Exhibition at the University of Sydney on the 3rd, and shared his northeast feelings with the audience.

Born in Hong Kong in 1950 in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, Deng Yuli is a well-known entrepreneur and financier in Hong Kong, the founder and honorary chairman of The Hong Kong Hantec Group. He was a successful businessman and an active social activist.

"Because I do finance, I have the opportunity to go to many places for meetings. There are more places to go, and slowly I like to travel. When I travel, I also want to leave a little memory, so I take pictures. Now is the Internet age, take a good photo, I want to share it with my friends. That's what I'm writing. Deng Yuli said.

But before 2012, Deng Yuli never wanted to go to northeast China to have a look. The Impression of the Hong Konger on the Northeast is "far away, cold, and tough." "By chance, in the early spring of 2012, Deng Yuli came to Harbin and immediately fell in love with the northeast. After the trip to Harbin, he extended his schedule and went to Changchun, Tianchi and other places.

As a result, the trip to the northeast was unobstructed. Since then, almost every year, Deng Yuli has arranged trips to the northeast, and so far there have been nearly 30 times.

"Someone asked me, you have been to 120 countries and regions, which country is the best? I said that every country has a unique landscape, a different culture. What is the difference compared to your own country? That's feelings. Back in the motherland, there is a sense of closeness. The motherland is my roots. Deng Yuli said.
