Western Network News (reporter Liu Wang) "Splendid Rivers and Mountains" Deng Yuli touring photography exhibition and Zhengjiazhen calligraphy and painting exhibition opened today (September 19) at the Art Museum of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, in order to reflect the moving scenery of the motherland "all things are self-sufficient in contemplation, four times of jiaxing and people together", to show the magnificent and beautiful rivers and mountains of the motherland, Deng Yuli, vice president of the Shaanxi Provincial Federation of Maritime Relations and honorary director of the Art Museum of the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, brought 140 photographic works to Xi'an to hold an exhibition to witness the development achievements of New China in the past 70 years.
At the same time, Deng Yuli also brought more than 40 calligraphy and painting works by the late artist and representative Hong Kong calligrapher and painter Cheng Jiazhen for exhibition. He also donated funds and books to the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts. The Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts presented Deng Yuli with a collection certificate and hired him as a library consultant of the Academy of Fine Arts and an honorary director of the foundation.
Deng Yuli expressed his hope that through this exhibition of calligraphy and painting, he will further promote the artistic and cultural exchanges between the mainland and Hong Kong, and contribute to the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese culture at home and abroad.
Cui Yiguo, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the Shaanxi Provincial CPC Committee, Guo Xianlu, president of the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, and relevant comrades of the United Front Work Department of the Shaanxi Provincial CPC Committee and the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts attended the opening ceremony.
