Seoul's Songpa Police Department's investigation into the cause of death of the late singer Shin Hae-cheol recently concluded, and the police judged that Shin Hae-cheol died of medical malpractice and suggested that the procuratorate prosecute the person in charge of surgery, K, for the death penalty of business negligence.

K Mou, the president of a hospital in Seoul, performed intestinal stenosis surgery for Shin Hae-cheol on the afternoon of October 17 last year, and without the permission of the patient himself and his family, he performed stomach reduction surgery on Shin Hae-cheol without authorization, which led to a perforation under Shin Hae-cheol's small intestine, causing peritonitis, periarthritis, and sepsis to take Shin Hae-cheol's life. In addition, K did not observe the patient's condition according to the regulations after the operation, which directly led to the hospital's failure to take corresponding measures in time when Shen Haizhe had abdominal pain, and was suspected of death by business negligence.

In October last year, Shin Hae-cheol suddenly suffered abdominal pain and went to the hospital where K was the president and was diagnosed with intestinal stenosis and was operated on by K's main surgeon. After being discharged from the hospital, due to repeated chest pain and abdominal pain, Shin Hae-cheol returned to the hospital for examination several times, and on the 22nd of the same month, he suddenly had a cardiac arrest and fell unconscious, and finally died five days later on the evening of the 27th.
