Laal Singh Chaddha, starring Amir Khan and Karina Kap, will be released on February 14, 2022. The film was originally scheduled for Christmas this year (December 25), but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Ashin is the official remake of the Classic Hollywood film Forrest Gump. The latter, starring Tom Hanks, was released in 1994. In 2018, Amir bought the film's remake rights and officially began production in 2019 under the direction of Avati Chandean (Mysterious Superstar). Asin is also Amir Khan's second collaboration with Karina Karp after Three Fools.
