The central authorities have decided that Comrade Yu Hongqiu shall be appointed deputy secretary of the party leading group of the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives and nominated as a candidate for chairman of the Council of the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives; Comrade Han Liping shall be appointed secretary of the party leading group of the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives and nominated as a candidate for deputy director of the Council of the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives; and Comrade Wang Xia will no longer serve as secretary of the party group and deputy director of the council of the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives due to his age.

According to the public resume, Yu Hongqiu was born in October 1960, graduated from Jilin University in 1982, and has worked in the All-China Federation of Trade Unions for a long time, successively serving as the director of the Business Management Division, the deputy director of the Career Development Department and the minister of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions. In 2008, he was appointed secretary of the Secretariat of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, member of the Party Group, and director of the Assets Supervision and Administration Department.

In 2010, Yu Hongqiu was transferred to the deputy secretary of the Guiyang Municipal Party Committee in Guizhou Province, and a year later, he was appointed secretary of the Zunyi Municipal Party Committee. In 2012, Yu Hongqiu became a member of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee and later served as the director of the Propaganda Department of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee.
