Wang Li is a post-90s girl from Sichuan who came to Wuhan in 2018 and became an online ride-hailing driver. During the epidemic last year, she participated in the community service activities of the Wuhan Community Security Team, known as the "Ferry Man", and was named the 2020 National March 8Th Red Flag Bearer, the 2020 National Upward Good Youth, and the National Top Ten Moving Figures of Volunteer Service for Outstanding Performance.

On March 18, 2020, after learning of the shortage of blood in Wuhan in the WeChat circle of friends, Wang Li rushed to the Wuhan Blood Center and donated 200 milliliters of hot blood. The experience of two unpaid blood donations has given her a deep understanding of the dedication of blood donation to save people, and she secretly made up her mind that in the future, she will not only participate in blood donation, but also drive more people to dedicate love.

Wang Li told reporters that when her father died unexpectedly at the age of 21, her mother almost shouldered all the burdens of the family, and the dependence with her mother for many years allowed her to see the perseverance and bravery of her mother. "As a woman, my mother has not had a hard time all these years, and she has never cried out to me." Wang Li said that her mother's spiritual encouragement gave her the idea of forming a volunteer service team for the ferry crew.
