Paper-cutting, Qin cavity, shadow puppetry, local specialties compete for beauty... On June 18th, the Huining Beautiful Countryside Tourism Festival with the theme of "Meet beautiful countryside and explore rural memories" was opened in Dingjiagou Town Line Chuan Pastoral Complex.

The 7-day tourism festival launched five key activities, including the opening ceremony of the Huining Beautiful Countryside Tourism Festival and the series of activities of the Line Chuan Pastoral Complex, the series of activities of "Zixiang Tongjiawan" children's fun experience series, the series of activities of "Barn Tianjiaping" to explore rural memory, the series of activities of Hantang 24 Festivals Culture and Leisure Commercial Street and the beautiful countryside self-driving fun tour. The reporter saw in Tianjiaping that the villagers of the eight townships of Ten Mile gathered in the barn town on the zuli River, bustling like the New Year, tasting various snacks and purchasing daily and agricultural supplies. The Barn Museum displays historical artifacts of various farming cultures, and the crowd of visitors flocks to visit.

With the Dragon Boat Festival approaching, local paper-cutting and embroidery artists are busy. Su Junlan, a 66-year-old sachet artist, told reporters: "Over the years, more and more people have come to Huining to travel, and I didn't expect that my needle and thread brain work has now become a livelihood for making money!" Su Junlan said that Huining embroidery has a long history, and this craft has been passed down in her family for 100 years. In her free time, she will sell her works at red spots such as the Huishi Building. It is this seemingly simple needle and thread that can bring nearly 30,000 yuan of income to the family every year.

Huining County has vigorously developed its tourism economy in recent years. In 2019, the number of tourist arrivals was 5.37 million, an increase of 17% year-on-year; the comprehensive tourism revenue was 3.4 billion yuan, an increase of 20% year-on-year.
