Zuli River
In ancient times, there was a great war here, only zu and Li families were left in a hundred miles, each of which had a small stream in front of their doors, which came together to become a small river, and later the children of the two families got married, so the river flowing in front of the door was named Zuli River.
The Zuli River is one of the important tributaries of the upper reaches of the Yellow River, originating in Huajialing in the south of Huining County, running through the territory of Huining County, and flowing north to Jingyuan to join the Yellow River. Because the inland layer of the river basin contains more salt and alkali, the water tastes bitter and salty, and it cannot be drunk for irrigation, it is also known as the Bitter Water River. It is 224 kilometers long and has a basin area of 10,700 square kilometers.
The zuli river basin is fertile and once the trees were verdant, and every autumn, the rivers are full of golden yellow, which makes people pleasing to the eye, so it is listed as one of the eight scenic spots.
