"Wolverine" Hugh Jackman and "Professor X" Patrick Stewart were certified by Guinness, becoming the longest career actors to play live-action Marvel superheroes

On February 21, Guinness World Records announced that "Wolverine" Hugh Jackman and "Professor X" Patrick Stewart were jointly certified as the Guinness World Records certification of "the longest career in the history of playing a live-action Marvel superhero".

From 2000's "X-Men" to 2017's "Wolverine 3", the two played the corresponding roles spanning 16 years and 228 days, during which the two also co-starred in "X-Men 2", "X-Men 3", "Wolverine 1", "Wolverine 2", "X-Men: Reverse Future", and Patrick Stewart appeared as Professor X a total of 7 times. In addition, Hugh Jackman starred in X-Men: Apocalypse and X-Men: First Battle, making a total of nine appearances as Wolverine.
